Great/cheaper place to exercise at the gym through the community center or school, complete general ed & transfer to a 4yr, or learn a skill. Smaller classes for more one on one learning. Friendly students & staff. After graduating & graduating from CSUN, I still come back for the community center gym class & easy-going school atmosphere.

I wanted to express my gratitude to the Veterans Service Office (VSO) at Valley College. My experience at my previous college, West Los Angeles College, was frustrating when it came to submitting the required documents for the GI Bill. The process was slow, and getting in touch with the right people was challenging. However, at Valley College, it’s been a completely different experience. My paperwork was processed the same day I submitted it, and making an appointment with the VSO was incredibly easy. Not only was everything completed promptly, but I also received follow-up emails about the submission process. Thank you, VSO, for making this process so smooth and keeping communication open.

A beautiful campus. Designated a ‘Tree Campus.’ With recent upgrades, it combines the old world with the new. A variety of courses including on-line classes available to suit a multitude of requirements.
I was a student here in the 80s and have taught English at various levels at LAVC for almost two decades. Here versatile instructors have changed with the times to serve a student population of many different cultures and ethnicities.

This is not an organization, but more disorganization. I enrolled my wife for spring classes and they gave us no information how to sign up in their website, no orientation nor direction how to start from one point to next. It's been a 4th time I took my wife to the classes and no teacher is available to give permission for a classes. Most teachers are rude, unprofessional and they're late every day. I don't recommend anyone here if you really need to learn the language.
