There is literally 0 diversity at this location and no one outside of Mexican works here. If you are looking for assistance and not Mexican, I’d look elsewhere. They only want to help ā€œtheir peopleā€ at this office- no whites,
Black, non Mexicans. Staff only cares about their kind and it shows based on the 99.9% staff you see, not truly kind or empathetic let the job description. Lacks many things. Its not representative of Maricopa county is a huge issue. Hispanic or Mexicans may be the major race needing help, but their sole focus at this office. I am not racist but it’s alarming to need help, esp for a child and there’s nobody outside of Mexican to go too here. The help receive differs depending on your race. No non Mexican staff here to oversee a thing. Whites or blacks could NOT operate an agency this way. I have worked previously for non profits and public health in other areas and never had clients consistently experience the same stuff. I’ve referred clients here and they seem to all give similar stories with applying and working with staff. If you are not Mexican, very little help and empathy is given. Staff wants to work with those they look like, quite unfair as a person of color, I’m bilingual. I’m a person not needing help and will not refer here unless my client is Mexican, there’s better programs the state funds and there is 0 resources Help Me Grow that a consumer can’t go in their own if they know where to look. You will feel uncomfortable or they will act like they can’t help. Maricopa should and could do better.

The entire program is a cancer on Phoenix. In their pathetic effort to serve families and children, they just walk around an office everyday and sit in meetings thinking that it is bettering the community. I was targeted by this organization at multiple sites and I will be taking this up as far as it possibly can go. My background is in Child Development and I can say with a whole lot of proof, that what they are doing is wrong and criminal.

If you want blatant racial discrimination everyday of your life, send your child here. In my ten years of education, I have never seen a program this bad.

A family specialist will help you get all documents needed to enroll your child in the program. Staff is friendly and possess a high level of credentials. You will be put on a waiting list but once you get the call your child is enrolled, you will be glad you went to the office to enroll your child in an amazing productive program.
