We moved to the Cincinnati area 18 month ago and Mars Hill was a big part of our decision to choose Cincinnati.

Our sons have already been richly blessed by their time at this academy. The teachers are incredibly high caliber - they are experts in their fields and they happen to love their fields of study. Add to that their love for students, discipling their minds and hearts, and you have an incredibly rich environment for students to excel and discover who they are and what they are meant to do in the world.

This school endorses legalistic teaching and theology. After attending this school for one year, I walked away with an education that did not apply to the modern world we live in. I was severely bullied by my peers with my teachers knowing about it. They did nothing to help me in my time of need. God is seen as a cruel detached monarch with no personal relationship to humanity. This school believes in tradition over mental health and a relationship with God. I would never suggest going to this school for anyone. I am not the only one who feels this way. I have many friends who have walked away from this school dealing with a tremendous amount of religious trama. Please never send your kids here.

This is a truly amazing faith based school with a top rated academic program. They are focused on a classical education and the development the students character. I was amazed to hear my second grade grandson name all fifty states by geographic location!!
