Our son started private lessons at Mathnasium a year ago when he was just three years old, and we couldn’t be happier with the incredible experience we’ve had. His instructor Tania has been nothing short of amazing. She is patient, supportive, and truly inspiring in how she works with him. Our son is a curious and energetic toddler, and having ADHD can sometimes make staying focused a challenge. However, his instructor’s ability to troubleshoot and adapt her teaching methods to keep him engaged has been remarkable. She consistently goes above and beyond, finding creative ways to make math fun and meaningful for him.
It’s rare to find someone who has such a natural ability to connect with kids, especially at such a young age, and we’re so grateful for her dedication to our son’s growth. He genuinely looks forward to every session, and we’ve seen so much progress—not just in his early math skills but also in his confidence.
We highly recommend Mathnasium and especially Tania to any parent looking for a supportive and personalized approach to learning. She has made such a difference in our son’s life, and we’re endlessly thankful!

My kids appear to enjoy themselves. There is a leak from the rain. The toilet is loud. Overall it’s a very bright room, I think warmer softer lighting lends better to learning environments. I will update after a few weeks of attendance and going through the program. Assessment was an hour plus for the kids. Parking upstairs. Door is locked to protect staff and students.

We are having a great experience at Mathnasium. Our 4th grader's scores are improving, and her self confidence along with it. The staff greet her by name when she walks in and the facility is always bright and clean. Highly recommend.

The Mathnasium at Woodland Hills has a great environment for my daughter to improve in Math. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ms.Hourig is amazing and my daughter adores her. Now Math is fun. My son has been thriving at this Mathnasium. We brought him in after his grades showed he was slipping in Math, and when we tried to do homework with him every night, it always ended in tears. We were so desperate to find something that worked and could not believe how lucky we were to find Mathnasium. My son loves the fun prizes he can earn with good work and actually looks forward to going. It's never a chore to get him out of the house to go here, and I am so grateful for that. Our last school assessments showed a huge leap in his math grades with just two months of going so we are excited to stick with it and not only get him caught up but ahead. Highly recommend!

My child has thrived with Mathnasium. They are able to think, and manipulate numbers in their head much more efficiently. When they have not learned a new method, they can now use their previous skill to still get the answer. They are no longer frustrated or deterred by new problems. My 10 YO is excited about math & going to mathnasium each week. She loves the staff as they make math fun, are patient & encouraging. She has been going 2 times a week for the last 4 months & her teacher reached out to me as she has seen such a dramatic improvement in her test scores as well as her confidence. The teacher noted that my 10YO is even helping others now!

My 10YO loves that she can work towards prizes as that gives her a huge incentive to keep working. She is soooo proud when she reaches a goal. It really helps her to master the work she is learning in her classroom as well as to stretch further & learn the next level of math early.

I really feel that we are building a solid foundation for her to build the rest of her math skills on. I like that they help her with her homework she has from school & help RE-explain it in different ways so that she gets it. This program doesn’t send them home with any more math it just supports them with the math they are currently learning & catches them up if they are behind.

I would highly recommend this program as my 10YO has gone from “I’m not good at math” to “math is fun”
