I can't give this place a bad review. The librarian is extremely helpful and professional. The library could use a more robust selection, but they only have so much room. Additionally, the activities in summer for the kiddos are great. I have lived all over the world, and for as long as I can remember, the library has always been my favorite place to be (outside of the house), and Melbourne's little building is no exception.

A small town library with big town resources. The new librarian is wonderful. She helps the children get books. She helps me keep track of them all. She has put into place excellent summer reading programs. The new kids reading room is a dream come true for a home schooling mom. Even the "children's" computer is perfect for my little 4 year old to get acquainted with computers. This isn't some stuffy old library, this library is alive and full of potential for every child.

My first visit to this small but well outfitted library was very pleasant. In spite of being small, the library is well stocked, has three computers, orinting and faxing services and free wifi. The librarian is personable and very helpful. My library card in Melbourne was freeeee! I had to have the librarian repeat himself as my previous state of residence a library card was almost prohibitively expensive and carried a yearly renewal requirement.
