Absolutely ridiculous to only have two people working in Member Services and they are not cross trained. Had to wait 20 minutes plus through a bathroom break because the second person there could not assist with making a membership card.

Bella Vista POA you make things way to hard and complicated, you could do better.

We had water leaking in our crawl space through our foundation. A friend of ours figured out the leak was in front of the meter. I called at 12:24pm and they had someone out within 15 minutes. He located the leak with listening equipment. He called it in and had a crew with a backhoe in maybe an hour. They dug everything up, put in a new line from the junction and the box. Refilled the holes and were done by 5:00pm. We were informed a landscape crew would be coming back I a few days to put our weed barrier and rock ground cover the way it was before they started. 5 star all day long.

I have lived many places and have never in my life had a water bill like we do in Bella Vista, AR.(aside from the time I had a water leak). Neighbors have come to my house just to ask what my bill was, and I've asked others including those in other areas what they are being charged. It is really bothering people here because they feel it is really high no matter what they do.

The charge here is outlandish and my water bill is actually higher then my electric bill every month. Shortly after moving in I had several minimal leaks fixed, and our bill went up instead of down. Bella Vista water utilities removed the trash pick up charge from the bill(we get that separately now), certainly that would make it go down $40+, but it is as high or higher without that charge then before when it was still on the bill. We have started doing everything possible to save on water usage, and have watched our bill continue to go up instead of down. I sent a complaint in with my last water bill, and my bill went higher though it's Dec. and we are using less then from this summer.

I am starting to believe there is some kind of corruption going on here but have not as of yet had time to pursue having this situation investigated. I did find an article online where someone else was wondering what is going on and had some good questions about some "fishy" things that didn't add up with Bella Vista's water billing. I am now wanting to move to a different area because it just isn't right.

I'm will request the attorney general for the state to open an investigation and see if we can get to the bottom of it.

I just moved here and I heard horror stories about the Bella Vista water department. Sorry to say, It's true. Customer service is horrible. I supposedly had a water leak didn't know anything about it. My mail was messed up the first month so I didn't receive my water bill. When I went down and told them they acted like I was trying to scam them. Oh yeah, and how about the time I went down to pay my bill and the sign on the door said they were going to be closed an extra hour for lunch, for their employee Christmas party. You see, they have no competition so they can do whatever they want.

We had a water line break between the main and the the meter. The crew that came today were courteous, professional and extremely good at what they had to accomplish. The job required a new line to be installed from the main to the meter. It was done quickly. The cleanup after the excavation was terrific.

The pure definition of incompetence. Took me a year to get a sold property into the new owners name. Walked in and sat down with personnel. Sat face to face and went over the entire transaction, paperwork, etc.. Was promised they had it all worked out and corrected, would change the name of ownership and would be sending me a deposit refund. Called them back a couple months later for a status check on the refund and they applied it to the new owners bill. Nothing ever mentioned in regards to scooping my refund. Was told by personnel I would have to collect it from the owners. The only bright side is it's the last property I owned in Bella Vista.

Need a simple question answered. No one to pick up the phone. Can I pay an extra dollar a month to get someone to pick up a phone at their desk? Nope. They'd take that dollar and spend it on another golf course.

They will let crooked landlords rack up water Bill's after you have asked to have services taken out of your name multiple times and then demand you pay for water you didnt use or they will shut off water at you new home even if you have never been late on a payment at either home. CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED.
