I am very disappointed in the care my loved one received at Menno Haven in Chambersburg. This organization acts like they offer exceptional services for their residents and patients, but in reality they use the large amounts of money they charge residents to make grand facilities with average to low care. My loved one did not receive the care they needed due to lack of staff knowledge and continuity between staff shifts. Their room was not kept clean and the floor they were on was understaffed. I am seeking care elsewhere for my loved one due to this. The cost of care here is unfortunately astronomical compared to the actual services a resident receives, and management glosses and smoothes over complaints without making actual change.

This place is expensive and you don't get any better care there. Both of my in-laws were there was not happy with the care. Keep your valuables locked up..The monthly maintenance fee is ridiculous.

We were very disappointed with the care that my mother received while at this facility. She was not given her pain medication on a routine basis even after her surgeon contacted the facility with detailed instructions. Because her pain medications were not managed appropriately, she experienced unnecessary lasting pain. Some of the staff also seemed to be annoyed with the level of care that my mother needed. This was illustrated by their poor attitude, harsh words & curt tone. The communication & continuity of care between different shifts was lacking also. We had her discharged in less than one week.

This facility is beautiful and the residents are well taken care of here. I definitely recommend working here or sending your loved one to this home.

My Dad and wife moved to MH 5 years ago. They love it and we are so happy for them . They are always going on the bus trips and dinners arranged by staff. The " campus" is lovely and well cared for. They can get help hanging pictures and general household chores . The common space and entertainment buildings are so accommodating and well appointed . We stay in rooms that are available to rent for guests right on the property, also come with kitchenettes. Very nice when visiting residents.

My father was there for several years and passed away August 2019. The staff and volunteers were always very nice and friendly. When my father passed away, the staff were so very caring for not only my dad but us also. Being short staffed is a chronic problem at all facilities like these but the staff have a very caring attitude in general. Thank you very much to my dad's LPN and the Nursing Director who went out of their way to help me, an out-of-towner, after my Dad passed. Genuine, good, Christian hearts. I am so thankful you both were there.

My mother hand to go to rehab for 3 1/2 weeks after a car accident. This was the best place I have ever seen for rehab. Not only did she get the rehab that she needed, but the care from the staff was excellent. Everyone was kind and caring and considerate.
