I volunteered here as a student.
I strongly recommend Michelle’s place to anyone who would like to volunteer or receive services here!
The entire staff was so kind to me and compassionate. They taught me so much about all of the amazing resources they offer to the community. A lot of support is offered- financial, emotional, psychological, reiki and massage, art classes, Christmas programs! An amazing family and community, I had the privilege to meet Michelle’s parents they were so kind. Volunteering here was an experience I won’t forget and I strongly encourage volunteering or donating here. They also have a library you can donate to as well or a Christmas program you can donate to. This is such an amazing community to support. Thank you so much.

I can't say enough great things about this place!! I feel loved, valued, and accepted. It's a tough battle fighting cancer, and Michelle's steps in and lets you know you aren't in the fight alone. That people do care about me and others like me. If you or a loved one (women) suffer or have suffered through cancer of any kind, reach out to Michelle's Place. Sending ♥️ to my pink sisters 🩷🩷🩷

It's a good place if you require services. I received a pair of swim prostheses a couple years ago. I attended a crafts night today (11/10/22) though and there's no back-light on the building name. If you're coming in a ride share that makes it very difficult to find the entrance to the parking lot. 4/5 stars for poor nighttime recognition/visibility.

When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, I had no hope. I didn't think that I was strong enough to fight. I came to Michelle's place, crying and lost, and found love, compassion and understanding. Most importantly, I found hope. I found the strength to fight. They provided me with knowledge, wisdom and many very important resources! They were there for me throughout my treatment and even after. They still call and check in on me. And here I am, 6 years later, no evidence of disease. I wear my scars proudly and I will be forever grateful to Michelle's place, all the staff, and the wonderful people I met along the way ❤ They helped make my journey alot easier, and I never felt alone. They have now grown into a resource center for all cancers. Something that is very much needed when you are facing something so scary.

My daughter has 2 rare cancers. We visited the City of Hope for an appointment and were recommended to come here. My daughter received a prosthetic breast and a bra. I was overcome with emotion when I saw my daughter look at herself. What a true gift that was given to her. So much time was spent with us during our visit and you could feel the love and compassion from each person .
