I give this school an overall rating of 5 stars but will honestly say this school does need room to grow. It has potential to be the best school but isn’t there just yet. More organization and professionalism is needed. But the team passion is there and that is was what I needed. I loved every one of the instructors, I learned something new from each and every one of them. I graduated a month ago, and can say I feel comfortable and confident driving a truck. If you attend this school, You will learn what you need to learn to pass all tests guaranteed. I can’t wait to see how much the school grows through the years.

I attended and graduated from this school starting in March 2021. I needed a flexible schedule due to me having a full time job already. Doug had no issue helping me create a schedule that would ensure my success in the course. The equipment at the school is top notch. The knowledge shared by the instructors is vast and extremely helpful. I had plenty of time to drive, practice backing up, and do pre trip inspections every day. I highly recommend this school and this staff.

It came down to crunch time for me, because my permit was set to expire soon. Doug was extremely helpful getting me worked into the schedule with a 1/2 day of instruction and also making sure I finished my skills testing before the deadline. He was also thoughtful enough to call me later in the evening to be sure I’d gotten the hard copy of my CDL at the revenue dept.

Be forewarned……..he’s a busy man, and can be difficult to contact. Persistence is the key, and once you get in contact with him everything goes smoothly.

You really helped me out Doug, so thank you again.

Not finished with trucking school yet but so far the instructors are nice and thorough in teaching, they are the only school who called me back and was eager to have me enroll. The price was very fair, and enrollment was easy.

I want to give a Thumbs up to Mid America Truck Driving School in NorthWest Arkansas..
I enrolled approx 2 yrs ago and passed my Test first Time !
The Class is "book work" that is really important but the Hands on Driving by the Trained Instructors is crucial if u want to learn and make Driving a Career!
What I love about this Staff & Instructors is that I have called several times since graduating and asked questions such as GAWR & GVWR weights, Hiways & Bridges that Mid America took the time to answer all my questions.
Even more that our call ended with " Todd, if u ever need anything, please give us a call back!"
I give this Business 6 *!!!
Thanku and I highly recommmend anyone to give em a try!

I attended MATS last year. I had never been in a truck before so I was nervous to say the least. The instructors at MATS were helpful and patient. With there help I got through and was able to get my CDL. With in a month I was hired on with a successful trucking company. MATS is a good school and can help get your CDL.

My son moved to AR to go to this school. He was told to wait a few weeks to start since he would be 19 years old. We where also told it would be hard to find him a job but they would help him. He got his CDL about a month ago. No one is helping him find a job. He's also being told by company's no due to him being under 21 years old. I feel like they charged him way to much and know he wouldn't be able to get a job. If Doug will step up and help him find a job I will think better about this school.
