Roberto, Juan Carlos and Israel de Jesus, our mover, were my angels ? yesterday. At the last minute, I had to find a mover to help my husband load and transport a very heavy Queen Size Adjustable Bed Frame. It went from my home in Richmond to a small apartment in Walnut Creek
I Gooled day laborers near me the night before and filled out a work order. Then I called at noon the next day to see if it wasn't too late to get someone that afternoon. Juan Carlos immediately went into action and we arranged for me to pick up Israel at 3600 MacDonald Ave, the Multicultural Center Office. Roberto was waiting outside with Israel and introduced us.
My husband and Israel got this moving job done in 3 and 1/2 hours. It was a tricky job getting that heavy bed frame into the apartment complex with stairs and an elevator. Two family members assisted at the apartment.
I more than highly recommend the Multicultural Center for any household job where help is needed. Workers are screened and the price is $25/hour per person with a 3 to 4 hour minimum. It's a good price for a reliable person. Juan Carlos even made a follow-up call to see how the job had been. It was excellent. I appreciate you all.
