This school was horrible back when I was there,(along time ago), and by the looks of it is still pretty terrible. I didn't end up finishing highschool there bc I was bullied to bad, and the school did absolutely nothing about it. It was the best decision of my life, made from my dad, to leave that school and drive the extra mile to Escondido Charter High. I graduated early from there, and now here I am so many years later, a nurse, a mother, and a wife. I own my own house, and have a blessed life, but not any thanks to MVHS. All that school cares about is image, not the kids that go there. And the only way you "fit in" was if you played sports. So parents, take the time to really think about where your sending your kids. Make good choices.

Admin and football coaches (Wilson and Fazio) continue to allow players to play when a parent shows them medical record proof that their son is currently using drugs and has a drug problem. The district rationale is that the drug use goes on off campus so there is nothing they can do. . . wonder if they would see it that way if it was their child struggling with addiction. Of course when my son left the school and continued to get in trouble as a result of his drug and alcohol use none of these coaches or administrators are there to offer any help. The school and the district's actions show their true priorities despite all the big talk about stressing academics and making good life choices.
