We have been using My Tutor with two of our children over the past 5 years - we really see tutoring as making a real difference to their exam performance

Both got 3 A Grade A Levels with our son now in his last year of a Computer Science Degree at Loughborough & our daughter has just started her Law degree at Southampton.

We found the My Tutor systems easy to use & really liked the feedback reports from the tutors after each session - as they got closer to their exams the focus on previous paper questions on a one-to-one basis was key to their success.

Our son had 2 sessions per week for two years with our daughter having 3 sessions per week for two years - our view is this was money very well spent!!

My son and I would like to nominate Jasmine C. She always responds promptly to our messages. She is organised and explains things well. She provides homework on a weekly basis and always gives thorough feedback after each lesson, explaining what topics were covered, what aspects went well, what areas need further work on and she always has a plan for the next lesson.

She is patient and friendly, and we think, she always goes over and beyond what is expected on MyTutor. We’re super happy that she tutors our son and in short she is utterly brilliant and we think a worthy winner of the MyTutor Award.

Our son has been tutored by Eloise for 2 years. She has been amazing, providing well prepared maths lessons and encouraging him when needed. With her constant calm teaching style and intuitive planning, our son managed to pass his maths GCSE and without Eloise's help this would not have been the outcome. My son and I would like to nominate Will Kingston-Cox. Will came to support my son with his Politics A-Level, but also ended up helping to support his Business A-Level revision too. Will was extremely flexible with his time, very engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. My son was predicted D before we engaged Will, largely due to him finding it difficult to concentrate on revising and articulating his message in exam questions, a consequence of dyslexia. My son had his sights on Sheffield university but needed AAB to secure his place and this was looking unlikely. Working with Will, my son was energised, engaged, listened and adapted. He secured the results he needed and was accepted at Sheffield to start in September. I cannot thank nor recommend Will enough to other students looking for support. Forever grateful!

I have used My Tutor for about 3 years and it has really helped my daughter's confidence in Maths and English.

I think the support and organisation is very good and the staff are knowlegable and helpful.

The two tutors' we have had are friendly and accommodating to my daughter's situation.

Overall I am happy with them, they have definitely helped and I have recommended them to other people..
