I had a great experience at NPTI of Arizona, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking to grow both personally and professionally in the fitness industry. The course curriculum was well-structured, progressing logically from anatomy studies to then applying that knowledge directly on the gym floor. This hands-on approach made it easier to understand how the body's mechanics translate into real-world movement. It was also a nice way to engage in what you learned with your classmates and practice demonstrating with each other as clients.

A huge shoutout to our instructor, Travis, who truly made this experience exceptional. He is not only knowledgeable and experienced but also incredibly inclusive and supportive. Travis meets each student where they are, ensuring that everyone feels valued and empowered to grow at their own pace. His holistic approach to fitness was truly inspiring—we didn't just focus on weightlifting and kettlebells, but also explored a variety of wellness modalities such as PNF stretching, yoga, ice bathing, meditation, and boxing. These elements added tremendous value to the program, equipping us with a well-rounded toolkit to help future clients in diverse ways.

The nutrition component, taught by Melissa, was another standout aspect of the program. Her deep passion for nutrition and wellness was evident in every lesson, and she provided practical, science-based strategies to help clients achieve their goals through informed food choices. Her insights were incredibly beneficial and will undoubtedly play a crucial role in how I approach client coaching moving forward.

Additionally, learning PNF stretching under the guidance of Lexi was an amazing experience. Her intuition and expertise in this area are unmatched, and she has a true gift for teaching. Lexi's approach made complex techniques feel accessible and applicable, helping us develop valuable skills to improve mobility and recovery for our clients.

I left this course feeling confident, prepared, and excited to embark on my career in personal training. Whether you're new to fitness or looking to deepen your expertise, NPTI of Arizona provides an outstanding education that goes beyond just the physical aspects—it’s a transformative experience that will set you up for long-term success. Travis even helps out and still gives us Alumni job leads.

Thank you, Travis, Melissa, Lexi, and the entire NPTI team, for your dedication and commitment to your students' success!

The National Personal Training Institute of Arizona is the best hands on school you can attend. You will learn anatomy, nutrition, fitness business, program design and everything you need to know to start working at a box gym or to start off as an independent trainer. You won’t just be certified you will be qualified and confident to change lives and help other to reach their life goals. This was the absolute best decision I have ever made in life. Travis and all of the instructors are experts in what they do because they have lived it and expanded their education in the field. This is an amazing hands on experience! I would highly recommend this program!

I graduated from NPTI in 2022. Why am I leaving a review now vs after graduation? I felt I needed to live in the real world as a trainer before I could leave an honest review. I have a multiple masters degree's and worked in academia and research before deciding on a career change. I love training, learning and teaching others, and I was looking for a fun part-time retirement job,  Being a trainer seemed to be a good fit. I found NPTI when I was looking for education options. I knew a basic certification was not what I was looking for and was mostly a waste of time. I also knew that I did not want to go back to school and get another degree. NPTI proved to be the perfect middleground. While it true that is not a full fledged bachelors degree, it should not be judged on the same level as such. Yes, you do not get the same level of educational depth as a BA, but in other aspects you get more. NPTI gives you breadth and real world tips on what you need to be a successful trainer. You also get some basic on-floor experience with your classmates. While nothing can replace actually getting out there and teaching, NPTI gets you thinking about what you need to know to survive. There are plenty of ah-ha moments moments where I connected the dots on what I was taught in class and picked up when actually working with clients (and employers). The buisness portion was the most valuable to me as that was the area I was the weakest in. I also appreciate learning assisted stretching. It does give you another avenue for revenue. Travis has always been there to answer questions too - and yes, I have had a lot of them. He is always looking to expand his education as well. I have seen him at a few CEU classes I have taken. Thank you NPTI. While I am still trying to figure out how to navigate being an entrepreneur, you gave me a good road map.

I did a lot of research prior to deciding to attend NPTI. I could have chosen a less expensive and quicker way to get certified as a Personal Trainer but I'm so glad I attended this school. The school was in-depth with practical application, and I am more prepared and confident than ever as I pursue my fitness career. I not only got certified as a PT but also obtained multiple other certifications (PNF Stretching, Kettlebell, Suspension, Nutrition, CPR/AED). The instructors are all extremely knowledgeable and do a great job in leading and teaching their respective subjects. We also got to hear from multiple industry leaders who would come in as a guest speaker. The school definitely exceeded my expectations.

I recently finished the master trainer program at NPTI Az with Travis and honestly, I’m sad it’s over. The program itself is highly organized and the way Travis delivers the information is on point . He makes it fun while at the same time giving a lot of new information every class. We got to go in to the gym and practice what we learned and also took some pretty cool field trips that opened my mind . Lexi taught PNF stretching and Mellisa taught us nutrition and both these ladies know what they are talking about! So many other positive things to say about this program but we would be here all day. Definitely worth the investment, now go get certified!!

I just recently graduated from The National Personal Training Institute of Arizona. At my age, the thought of going back to school was difficult. My daughter and I had been working out together, but knew we needed more knowledge and wanted to possibly look at personal training as a career. We scheduled a tour with Travis at NPTI AZ and once meeting Travis we immediately knew this was the right path and what we wanted to do. We got home, paid the registration fee to hold our spot in class and was updated regularly with the information we needed to get ready for class to start. The hands on experience was absolutely amazing, to think some learn that only from books is scary. Travis and Chris really took the time to explain everything so we would understand it. If you are looking for a career as a personal trainer or just even looking to increase your knowledge of anatomy, nutrition, business and movement, NPTI AZ is the right choice.
