What I love about this organization is that, through email alerts, a donor is able to pick where the donation will be spent, allowing them to focus on what matters most in the donor's heart. There are always different options available from specific clothing or home needs needs, to gift cards for items, school supplies, band necessities, etc. By providing a wide range of needs more donors can participate!

Neighborhood Bridges offers a unique way to help communities in filling needs. It uses technology and advocates to effectively and efficiently post needs on behalf of those in need and engage and empower the community to fill them. The first time I heard about it 4 years ago what struck me most was how simple yet effective the process was and how the students are at the forefront. I have been an Area Director since and I can vouch for the authenticity and transparency of this wonderful organization!

Neighborhood Bridges is amazing!! Our school system has been a part of this organization for 3 years now. The process is easy and their support staff is the BEST!! Neighborhood Bridges has allowed our school system to support many families in our communities when they were in need of resources. We are able to connecting people and resources instantly!

Neighborhood Bridges has helped several of my EL families over the years; a mom who hurt her back washing clothes in the tub received a washer, a newly arrived family received a bed and sheets so no one had to sleep on the floor, another family was in need of a sofa and dresser. They are so friendly and helpful, plus are able to deliver these items to the apartment. Neighborhood Bridges is truly meeting the needs of families in our community and I am forever grateful!

I love this organization! I get 1 email a week with community based needs. There is no pressure, just help if you can. Helping is easy, often just a quick ship from Amazon. It is a really awesome way to help the people in need right in your own backyard.

I love that we have a charity that we can donate to that takes care of LOCAL needs. I am not discounting the world-wide charities and programs in any way. But knowing that we are helping our neighbor or someone who goes to school with our child or a local family hit by hard times is such a joy. Having a place for someone in need to be able to ask for help without having to disclose who they are or what their entire situation might be is wonderful. I open the emails each time they come through to see if I can help. Sometimes I am not in a position to provide assistance but when I can, I do, and I love that I am helping my neighbors, my community.
