Terrible excuse for a school. The teachers change constantly, but the one thing that never changes is Administration.

Teachers: Please, please don’t think you have to work there to have a job. There are places out there that you have legitimate breaks, prep periods, and your pay is on a scale rather than subject to company whims. You’ll never be gaslit for taking your PTO or being legitimately sick. There are loving administrators that don’t talk about you behind your back and smear you to parents. There are places where administration will support you and not question your motives when you complain about working conditions and lack of support.

Parents: As for the education here, it is low quality at best. Very few kids are proficient in math and reading. Ask for REAL numbers. Whole grades can be held back because of it. Don’t risk the ability to know your child’s progress! The school won’t notify you in a timely manner because they don’t have a legitimate grading system that isn’t archaic or subject to the whims of teachers or the principal. The curriculum is sub par and or not existent in many areas.

The biggest issue though is admin. Things change because they want them too. Your child’s schedule could change due to staffing (which doesn’t happen in better, more organized schools) or just because a teacher quits at random. Teacher quit because it is bad for teachers. If you get a bathroom break you are exceedingly lucky. Kids get into brawls constantly because they are stressed to the max and not in a predictable, normal learning environment.

Parents and teachers alike- RUN!
