Sincerely speaking, the New Haven Academy of Performing Arts is by far the best Performing Arts school in Connecticut in my opinion. I was in search of a school for my daughter and after seeing a Facebook ad, I decided to give them a call. From Day 1 Mr. Billy was truly welcoming. He and the Coaches do an amazing job with taking each kid to their own level of performing arts and it has been amazing to witness. My daughter is extremely excited when she has lessons approaching. If you are looking for a place where your kids can learn, have fun and be structured this is the place to be.

New Haven Academy of Performing Arts has been the best choice I could ever have made for my daughter. P started taking classes at NHAOPA at the age of 7, this year at age 11 she moved up to middle school with an amazing sense of self and a great amount of confidence. The amazing instructors and staff at NHAOPA create such a loving, encouraging, supportive and FUN environment it’s hard to get the kids to leave for home at the end of the class. P started piano lessons this year and came home after her first lesson eager to practice and welcoming the challenge of a new skill. This place is truly magical and I’m so glad we found them!

At NHAOPA our daughter participates in their Musical Theatre program. Our experience has been fantastic! They are well organized, highly communicative with parents and put on an amazing show that gets the student body on the stage! The cost of the program is the best value by far when compared with other programs. Dollar for dollar it makes the most financial sense. Pair that with the combined caliber of professional experience; it's a great deal. More importantly, Billy, Neil and the NHAOPA team are warm and incredibly welcoming, they really make us feel at home there. They are inclusive and supportive to all learning and life styles. They value and appreciate productive feedback and encourage parent involvement. We love it here!

My child has been taking voice lessons from Mr Edwin here for almost 2 years now. Their range, vocal skills, confidence in singing, all have improved tremendously. Mr. Billy who runs the place checks in periodically. Last year- they had the opportunity to participate in the musical theater summer camp and perform on stage - it was the most wonderful experience. The teachers were warm , caring and took a personal interest in the development of my child. I am so glad that our child is part of this NHAOPA family.

We have been with NHAOPA for over three years and it has been one of the best experiences for our daughter. New Haven Academy of Performing arts has been a wonderful experience for both my children. My daughter came to NHAOPA for singing lessons and acting classes. New Haven Academy of Performing Arts is a home away from home for me, and my three children. We’ve been students here, together, for about a year and a half. To watch my children gain so much confidence and become better versions of themselves, has been an awe inspiring experience. This community, family really, that we are a part of is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before! The staff at NHAOPA have created an extremely positive learning environment that focuses on developing well rounded performers, young and old - trust me on this one ;).
