The park isn't done and it's already awesome for kids of all ages. There is even a zipline and it's handicap inclusive. Currently there are no benches and no shade near the playground. Hopefully that is in the plans.

We are new residents of New Paris and this area. I was really impressed with everything they have put into this smaller town to make it feel like home to us! Thank goodness I found the park for our 2 grandbabies! The splash pad is just enough to cool down. Everyone has been very nice!
We had a CM detector go off, and after dialing the non emergency number the Police Chief and the Fire Chief came with crew to clear our house. They knew the answers to each question I had!
Feels nice to be accepted, protected, and we thank you!!!

There's a zip line for kids and they loved it kept them busy for awhile.. we will go again

Went to the Apple Festival. Haven't been in years. It seemed a little bigger since that time. Looks like there is still room to grow. For the kids there were a lot of bouncy houses and a ride. A lot of kids were playing on the playground. Looked like a bunch of teams for the 3 on 3 basketball (which would be fun to watch). The band that was playing was really good. As the evening rolled on, more people started coming in. They have a cake walk and that is always fun. If I lived a little closer, I would've liked to attend some of the other activities. Looked like they added some vendors (it's nice to support local crafters). There was a variety of food. Saw someone with corn on the cob,(after I had already ate) . I guess I missed seeing it cause I would have gotten it.
