Karen was tremendously helpful for my teen. She really knows her stuff and combined mind/body techniques with the intervention and it landed perfectly for my kiddo. I would give Karen 10 stars if I could. She’s the tutor we’ve been searching for all these years—an incredibly talented reading and language tutor. My daughter shared that Karen was the best tutor she’s ever had and was the reason she did well in English class last year. She hits all the marks and deserves the vote for best all-around tutor.

Our family highly recommends Karen Ashbaugh if your child is struggling with dyslexia. She worked with our daughter at the age of 11. Her confidence was shot because of the difficulties she was having at school. Working with Karen not only improved her school work, but it also improved how she interacted with others. Karen continues to be a great source of information and cheerleading to both our daughter and us, the parents.

My son has completed two of Karen’s programs and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The programs are highly effective and Karen is a genuinely caring facilitator who truly wants to see her client to succeed.

I will be forever grateful for the tools my son now has to help guide him throughout his lifetime. I have confidence he will manage just fine and is finally on a level playing field to maneuver through his adult years.

My son will be 13 next week and he just completed Karen‘s reading program. Kare has a personal understanding of what the child and families experience when their child is struggling and I personally connected with her on this level. It is very apparent that Karen has a genuine passion in wanting to see my son improve and succeed. During the week of the program my son was so incredibly happy and more confident than I have seen him in a very long time. Our family is very excited to see how all the tools he learned in the program will help him be more successful and help increase his confidence in the classroom and in every aspect of life. As a parent, I can truly that I really enjoyed working with someone who understood the difficulties and emotional roller coaster that we have faced as a family. She took the time to explain what my son was learning and how we can support him in this journey. Karen is simply wonderful! I am so excited to see what is in store for my son!

My son struggles with reading and was basically looked over at the public school system. They passed him off as just being an energetic young boy. They failed to realize that more than half the alphabet caused disorientation, which would be a huge reason why he struggled so much. A friend recommended Karen and the Davis Dyslexia program. We jumped at the opportunity to get our son the information and tools his mind needed to be able to read better. I was impressed with how Karen was able to get through to my son in a way the his brain could understand. After the course was over, my son was thrilled to have had the experience and he actually thanked me for taking him! Thank you Karen for giving my son the tools he needed to confidently read better!
