It’s incredibly disappointing to see how my daughter’s needs were overlooked. Despite apparent issues I made them aware of. they dismissed the fact she may have ADHD. She struggles with focus, remembering details, and completing basic tasks, yet these difficulties went unrecognized. I regret leaving her alone during the evaluation because I would have liked to see exactly what these assessments involved. My daughter often says she understands to avoid feeling inadequate, and she’s learned to hide her struggles well, but her challenges are obvious when she's asked to actually perform a task. The lack of insight and recognition here has been deeply concerning, and I hope future evaluations are more thorough and attentive.

So far I feel as though this place is very unprofessional & not true to their word which makes me very skeptical of them. My mom put in all the info they claim they needed to start my child’s services . Months passed & I never heard anything from them. I called & called , left several messages it’s been weeks & yet no one has called me back like they claim to do. Seeing all the other reviews that people have the same issues with them so I doubt I’ll even continue trying to get services from them. All the money they’re getting to supposedly help these child I highly doubt they are using it for that since most people have such a hard time getting someone to answer the phone & get services for their child(ren). Hell would probably freeze over before these people actually do their job. & what makes it sad is that our child(ren) take the hit not them.

My daughter was evaluated approved for services it’s now going 4 months I’ve been waiting around for someone to reach back out to me for services . I’ve left several voicemails to my case worker, spoke to the officer of the day and get nowhere . Seems as if they wait for the kids to almost turn till they do their job and by then they’ll have to discontinue services . Horrible place to obtain any help

I went to their program the housing is poor they need to start having their clean staff cleaner the evaluation was okay I was out in 3 days into the system it never failed me around me in the house are rude causing threats and humiliations I don't never want to join this program they owe me $700 saying that they're going to help me out is a poor system there are never there to help they take a long time to respond my worker is named Frank bank he has been lacking on communication with me I gave up on the system years ago here I am trying to get ahold of him and the number keeps going to voicemail
There are so much going on and I felt like this system has fallen so why not just call it a day and close out the whole system no one is helping no one for this point all you're doing is taking money and trying to build something that cannot be available it's better just close your shop and close the hole system

The wait time was ridiculous. I was the only one in the lobby, and they had me wait 45min before they told me someone else would call me on the phone.

This site NLACRC is horrible! They do nothing in assisting any type of convenience for their clients. The customer service, the authorization processes, the communication with clients is horrible!

My 3yo son has been diagnosed with autism a year ago by our psychologist, and has an IEP. However the regional center stated to give him services, THEY must evaluate him. So after applying for the regional center, I had to wait 4 months for his evaluation. Finally after the evaluation, I am told I must wait up to an additional 4 months for a diagnosis. Now why couldn’t he receive his diagnosis immediately during the evaluation? I am constantly advocating for my son and have called several times, only to be routed to voicemail boxes. I am never called back within the 2 day period they assure. Finally after giving pushback and escalating the calls, I am told that when they eventually diagnose him, I will have to further wait, as all services are waitlisted. Its already been 10 months and my son still has not received services. This is ridiculous. I understand there is a high demand for services, but the county needs to do better. Hire more staff! And prioritize our disabled children, as they are falling further behind!
