My son got an scholarshio to attend NFA. I had to drive him there every day for 4 years because we lived out of district. NFA is a semi private school and I thought that it was better than the local high school, but it isn't. It is huge high school and your child is just a number.

ive been at nfa since december 2022 and in february 2023 i was in class and this boy said he was gonna put his hands on me and i said “do it then” and they gave me iss for saying that but didnt give him nothing, earlier in 2024 a boy said something inappropriate to me and i didnt like it so i told him “watch your mouth” and i was put in iss for “trying to start a fight” which in no way i was. recently in may/2024 i was hit by a boy in a fight and i defended myself and they called my father and said “we are suspending your daughter for 10 days because we seen her fight back but we did not watch the full footage its under investigation” so if its under investigation why are yall giving me 10 days? why am i getting in the most trouble when i did not start none of those conflicts at yall school.

NFA gets 0 stars for student safety. A private school with big tuition. Although they may have great academics, it doesn’t do much good if your kids aren’t safe. My grandson was beaten so badly last Friday by two other students that he has had brain surgery and is in the hospital. Academics is not as important as safety. Choose a smaller school.

I had high hopes for this school but it is not what it used to be. Would not recommend this school to anyone. They do not care about the students. Their sports teams are mismanaged. Safety is an issue. Even the staff think this school is a joke and will outwardly express that to your child. Find an alternative
