Update: So things seam to be getting better. We have better instructors on staff & the YouTube videos seam to have gone down to a minimum. They also seam to be trying to interrupt class much less, which is very helpful. Glad to see the college is listening to concerns of students and starting to make the necessary changes to provide the education the students deserve. Hopefully everything keeps going in the correct direction.

So last quarter we started with no tools. No explanation on why we had no tools, just that they were on order. This quarter we HAVE NO BOOKS!! I cannot speak about other courses, but the electrician training offered at OBC is a joke. Our instructor literally just shows us videos of people reading the book to us. Apparently they do not think people attending their school can read? These are videos that other colleges have put out to help with the covid pandemic or as part of their curriculum. These videos are from YouTube & loaded with ads as well. We then have to do homework and since our instructor has not taught us anything, we have no idea what the questions are talking about. I do not even know where to begin when I read homework questions. I think, if I only had a book to refer to I could do so much better. This course is beyond frustrating because I actually want to learn but I am not being taught. Yes the class size is smallish, but there is non stop interruption from other staff members and other students in the building. When another instructor or staff member walks into our class they have a conversation with our instructor which disables our ability to clearly hear the video that is playing but nobody seems to care. This is on top of the hammering sawing & drilling from other rooms. If you want to waste money and not learn anything this program at Ohio Business College is right for you.

The school is great although, I’m not appreciative of workers talking behind their students back because a student is told one thing and the student wants to make sure that it happens like getting out earlier than usual because we have lives and sometimes needs a break. Instead of talking to you like the adults we are, instead that rather talk about you behind your back in front of other students. So future students please be aware!

Stopped by to Chat with The Instructors and Students. Outstanding group of guys. They took the time to help each student and the students had great things to say about the Instructors. If your looking at Truck Driving Schools THIS IS THE ONE#!! Small classes and it looked like everyone had a truck when I was there?
They had plenty of instructors on hand to help out any student in need too.

A total scam. The teachers barely know anything and the other staff is even worse. Go to LCCC. Way better. I wanted to drop out and they pulled every card to try make me stay. The job placement is a joke. The lady said she could get me into best buy after I graduated. OH MY!! Best buy!! ....I couldve applied and got a job there without her. Literally useless. This was around 2015.

while attending OBC the staff and students were very friendly and helpful. They make it easy for you to set and meet your personal goals with the specific training and tutoring you may need. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in furthering your education without the overwhelming experience of an over sized campus.

I did the HVAC program and the teachers are great and want to help you learn but the administration will constantly call you about making payments and getting a loan so they can get their money right away. Greg will just ignore your emails as well. They’re trying to set up a good HVAC program but their main goal is getting money, not giving value. They don’t actually have job placement like promised. You’re better off getting an apprenticeship. If the company likes you, they’ll pay for your 608 certification and help you get tools you need. HVAC program definitely WAAAAAYYY over priced

They are charging people a bit over 15k just to get a medical assistant certificate when you can go to lccc, that has a much better program for 3500. They are literally charging people quadrupole the amount, because you will "get in faster" this was the biggest bullet I have ever dodged in my entire life. After I decided not to go through with going to this school the lady still never left me alone about coming back and tried everything she could do to make me stick with the program. It's literally a scam.
