I am fully confident that my son is in good hands at Oberman Tutoring. I have known Paul since the beginning of his academic career. Over the years, he has been using his gifts and wisdom to help students from a variety of backgrounds to excel in their pursuit of academic success.
Our son looks forward to his sessions in mathematics as well as English. Paul has recruited other experienced tutors to perform together as a team. Geoffrey has proven to be a very creative guide, assisting our son to enjoy and flourish in his interaction within the diverse field of English literature.

Paul has been amazing to work with on getting our son's SAT score up. He is flexible and helped us move fast to achieve our goals. He provides an update after each session and follows up with our son regarding practice work. He knows his stuff! Paul makes it easy for our son to understand the material and also Paul motivates him to want to do better---our son really enjoys working with him. Paul has also helped our son with studying for math tests too.

AMAZING tutor ! Dr. Oberman- We can't thank you enough. With your help my daughter has not only improved her math grades, but she has gained the confidence she was lacking to approach math challenges. We have been through a few tutors locally , whom were all A+ excellent tutors, but none of them can compare to what Dr. Oberman can do. My husband and I were skeptical of remote/ zoom style tutoring, as we are accustomed to having an in person tutor. We are so glad we tried Dr. Oberman, my only regret was not finding him sooner. The results for our child were pretty much instant. She developed a confidence that was not there before and I really feel the "remote" learning actually helped. Less stressful for her. Dr. Oberman is able to quickly assess what your child needs/ areas of strength/ weakness, able to relate and COMMUNICATES everything clearly, every step of the way. The price is fair compared to other tutoring services, but there is no comparison in the level of expertise, which is why you are hiring a tutor for your kid in the first place. Highly recommend.

Dr. Oberman is a wonderful resource and any student is lucky to work with him. I appreciate Dr. Oberman's knowledge and the years of experience he brings from his work in a variety of school settings. My kids are in middle and high school and they have very different learning styles and personalities, not to mention curriculum. Dr. Oberman has taken the time to understand each individual child; he is able to identify their specific strengths and challenges, and he differentiates his instruction accordingly. During his SAT preparation with Dr. Oberman, my son, a reluctant math student, made great progress. Dr. Oberman knew just how much to encourage/push my teenager to get a positive outcome. Lastly, it is clear that Dr. Oberman has a keen awareness and sensitivity about how the pandemic has affected kids' experiences in school, both socially and academically. He meets kids where they are academically and he focuses on building their confidence.

Dr. Oberman was an amazing tutor for my daughter for the ACT math section. With Dr. Oberman’s support over 6 weeks my daughter was able to raise her Math ACT score. In addition be provided homework and access to online tools which helped my daughter acquire the skills necessary to increase her score. Dr. Oberman was also kind, supportive and understanding. I woooe highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ACT tutor.
