My wife and I have been very happy with Over the Rainbow in Cheshire. Our two girls, four and 20 months, have gone there from a very young age. Both enjoy going each day and have had wonderful teachers that are also super educational. They both have learned so much as far as talking and also great manners. We feel good sending ours kids to a place where we know they are truly cared for and have lots of fun.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Over the Rainbow! Our daughter had started there in 2017 and stayed all the way through Pre-K. Our second child started in 2021 and will be there through Pre-K as well. We were so impressed with how much our oldest child had learned throughout her time there and she was well prepared for Kindergarten. Both of our children were and are still well taken care of and we appreciate the staff there so much!

My two year old started Over the Rainbow in the fall and we are very happy with the center. The teachers and staff are very nice and have gone out their way to ensure my little one is comfortable. We love the app that they use to send updates throughout the day; we always get lots of pictures and a summary of all of their activities as well as foods and bathroom/diapers. After only a few months we are very happy with the center and most importantly so is our daughter.

My family loves Over the Rainbow in Cheshire. The teachers are amazing, the building is bright, clean, and safe. Highly recommended facility.
My daughter is 18 months and since starting at OTR she comes home singing all the new songs she's learning at school. My son is in the preschool program and somehow the teacher has managed to make learning fun because every morning he's excited to go to school.

I did a ton of research into local day care facilities when our little girl was ready to make the transition. After reading about and visiting Over the Rainbow (Cheshire location), we were extremely impressed. The facility is clean and well lit, and the all of the staff members are incredible. They took excellent care of our daughter. It is not easy adjusting to the idea of taking your child to day care. Knowing that our daughter was being given the best possible care gave us great peace of mind. If you are looking for day care for your child, I highly recommend taking a look at OTR. You won't regret it.

My husband and I are so happy with our experience here so far. Our 1 year old daughter has been here for 2 months and she loves it! The teachers are so friendly and committed to making sure your child is well taken care of. We especially love the daily photos of her playing or doing art projects as well as the updates on foods, naps etc. Our mind is always at ease knowing she is being well taken care of.

Love this place!
It’s hard finding a place where your kids are safe and taken care of. A place where they can learn and grow; but I found that and much more at Over the Rainbow. My experience has been great. The staff is wonderful, my kids when they walk in, they run to their teachers to give them hugs. My son has been there since he was an infant and now he is in the Pre-school program and he loves it! The environment is welcoming and the learning tools and activities keeps the kids active and eager to learn. I recommend this facility to any parent who wants to see their child develop their early learning skills in a safe and loving environment.

OTR was an amazing experience for my kids. The teachers made each day a fun one, as well as full of learning.

We chose OTR because we had heard there was a strong pre-K program and there was also after-care for our school-age child.

The pre-K program was very comprehensive. Ms. Tammy made learning fun, and had a structure to the day and week that made it easy to follow and support at home. We were always kept aware of any activities well in advance and could always ask questions.

For school age, the bus picked up right from the center, so no difficulties whether it was a full or half day. They were open on school close days (except the major holidays). It met our family needs and my school age kid could get assistance with homework when needed.

When COVID-19 hit, OTR stayed open. Staff worked with families to meet fears and concerns; we were kept aware of changes and protocols. Though my school age child stayed home to do remote learning, my pre-schooler continued to attend. Even with masks, staff remained cheerful, supportive, and came up with creative activities. They normalized checking temperatures in morning, and asked about symptoms and trips without making it seem like the same questions were being asked each day.

They found a way to do a modified graduation ceremony and included my school ager, who had not attended in 3 months, in their farewell ceremony for the year.

OTR came across as a family and we were definitely members.

It is a great facility and my children thrived there!
