My husband had eye surgery a couple years ago with Pacific Eye Institute and has been a patient ever since. We recently changed insurances and jumped through major hoops to make sure we can get a referral back for him to see them since he was established there already. When we made the appointment we made sure they knew the situation with insurance and the referral and they made the appointment without any problems. They called and confirmed the day before so he thought he was good to go. Drove over an hour to the Eastvale location just to be denied. Said they couldn’t see him because of the insurance!! We told them we have a specific referral and already called to make sure it was okay. Nope! Refused him at the door. Wasting nothing but time and gas money driving all the way there. So make sure you don’t double but triple check that you will be allowed to be seen since clearly everyone you speak to is on a different page!! Ridiculous!!!!

I had no feedback from the person who saw me after taking 2 tests. Not happy at all. Do not know if the gentleman was a doctor or an assistant. I have a second black eye on the left side. I do not know why, related to my dx or not.

On behalf of my sister/your patient, Maria Villanueva. Maria is very pleased with your professional services. Very impressed with the time you take to explain thoroughly the meaning of procedures. In addition, I am very impressed with your entire staff. The fact that your staff speaks Spanish, I have the impression some speak other languages. Once again, thank you! See you in one year.

I have been going to Dr. Roeske since 2011. He is very attentive to the patients and gives recommendations based on their situation. He has newest technology in refractive surgery. I had both my cataracts removed with no issues and didn't have to wear prescription glasses for reading.
His office staff is great in follow up appointments etc.

I am doing a follow up check up at this location after the last visit at the pacific eye institute at the Rancho location. The service quality is very different. At Rancho, the waiting time was about 15-20 minutes and everyone is cooperating very closely. We were amazed by the efficiency of how the information is communicated within the team. I will give Rancho location a five star. Today, I waited over an hour at this location. I left 2 hours time for this quick follow up check up and NONTHING was done during this whole time. I waited over 1 hour 15 minutes just at the waiting area. At 1 hour mark, I asked the receptionist how long is the waiting time and she told me I am next. But they called 5 more people before me. I was just asking to make sure I don’t have to make any time adjustment for my later appointments. When I was brought in by a guy, he asked a few questions and said that he is going to dilute my eye whereas the doctor specifically told me that I cannot do that since I am breastfeeding. This may cause bad consequences if I did not bring that information up. It feels like even with the profile they have, they have no idea what they are doing before I see the doctor. Then, they told me I need to go back to the waiting area for another 30 minutes or more just to see the doctor. I had to cancel this appointment because I cannot run so late for my next appointment and also, I am just don’t think the waiting is worth while since they don’t know what they are doing and it will be a waste of time. I try to reschedule to the Rancho location again but it will have to be one month later. I understand there is always a wait needed to see doctors but at least, I am expecting the team to know the basic information of my case and work efficiently and not wasting my time when not needed.

Dr. Yung was thorough and skilled at identifying the eye issue I was experiencing and taking the steps to get me seeing better. He was say to talk to and is a caring Doctor. Glad I was able to receive his care. The entire staff at Pacific were friendly and well trained.
