Had a great time despite my miserable allergy flare up. My instructors were Rhino and Chris. Superb Coaches, very encouraging and informative. Kept the class engaged and entertained. I have a bike but I don’t ride it consistently and I have never been on the highway with it. Most of my riding performance is from muscle memory growing up in texas deep country riding 4 wheelers and mopeds. This class helped boost my confidence to get more practice in so I can get on the highway for some highway therapy. I am now interested in taking more advanced classes and being the best rider that I can be. Thanks Rhino and Chris! - Tee-

Easy! This course its very easy, options to do the writing test online and in person as well. At the range, pretty easy as well, way to go its to be open mind, and be receptive.
For that people saying its "too much information for one day" if you can't handle info and you are too slow to get it, its not a course for you. Trainers are very patients, and they help out with anything you need or if you have questions. I got my card and it was pretty easy. I would recommend this course to anyone who would like his MSF course card.

Took the EMTC Motorcycle Training Course this past weekend and I cannot stress how great of an experience this was. Rhino, Kenny, and Alex were incredible and they alleviated all of the nervousness I had the entire week leading up to the weekend of the course. No matter how inexperienced you are, I promise they will put you at ease and boost your confidence practically the moment you show up on Day 1. For anyone who may be a bit more timid and reluctant to take a course due to overbearing instructors, I promise that isn’t the case here; this is no shouting or screamfest, they perfectly balance gentle insightful training with stressing the inherent dangers that motorcycling can/will pose. I had never driven a motorcycle of any kind prior to the course and by the end of it, I genuinely felt like I could get on the road and at least handle the basics fairly easily. I will definitely be back for the intermediate course down the road!

I just finished the course in Chula Vista with Alex, Mary and Kristy(sp?) as my main instructors. These three were FANTASTIC instructors!
Everything was very organized and the course progression is well-thought out. This course caters to the absolute beginner (me) with no experience on a motorcycle and progresses to the end to include cornering, shifting, quick stops, and getting up to speeds around 15-20mph.
The vibe from all of the instructors was one of positivity and constructive criticism. Questions were encouraged and the answers were always thoughtful and thorough. Once I get more time on the bike, I’ll be back to take the Intermediate course.

I took my motorcycle course at Pacific safety center back in February and I can't recommend it enough! The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and patient, even with beginners like myself. They made the learning process fun and engaging, and I felt confident on the bike by the end of the course. I especially appreciated the focus on safety – it gave me the peace of mind to hit the road knowing I had the skills I needed to stay safe.

Their website says this class is for beginners. But let me tell you if you have never ridden a motorcycle and have never been around it, this class is not for you. This class is for people who need a DMV waiver and who know how to operate a motorcycle. Most of the students in my class had some experience driving motorcycles. I was in the minority of those who had 000 experience. The structure of the class is very intense and very overwhelming. Instructors move you from one step to the next step and then to the next. Not sure how it is possible to switch from one step to the next when you are not completely familiar with the first one. Honestly, I think 4 hours session on the first day is too much for a complete beginner. Coming here, I thought I would learn how to ride a motorcycle. My goal was not to pass or not to pass the test. Anyway, I ended up falling off a motorcycle 3 times within 3 hours, the motorcycle I rode was really heavy for my light and petite frame. I decided to dropoff the class. Which means I threw my money away. No help from administration. This place just will happily eat your money. My suggestion, if you are a complete beginner like me, take one-on-one classes somewhere else first where you can learn at your own pace versus trying to keep up with the group.

I think the instructors did a fabulous job teaching the basics. They are very skilled and have years of experience. It is the perfect course for someone who has never rode a motorcycle before (like me) because they start off slow. They provided me with the tools I will need and a solid foundation to become a safe rider. I somehow also managed to get paired with the exact bike I was considering purchasing. They provide the bikes, aswell as helmets and gloves if needed.

Update: I finally received my refund on 10/17. Ultimately, I'm leaving the one star. Now, eight business days is not the worst wait time, but it's not great either.

Furthermore, in trying to work with the office, I was repeatedly lied to. Not a misunderstanding, but literally just telling me things were moving when they weren't. If you know a refund won't be processed for a week, just tell the customer. It's better than being lied to.

There are other ways to learn to ride. Don't go here.

Registering for a class is super easy. The problem comes when some major life event happens afterward and you need a refund.

I was told my refund was processing for a week with no solid update, then nine days later was told it was finally being processed on a bank holiday before having the rest of my messages ignored.

I was looking forward to re-registering but now I'm going to look at other options.

I'll update this review to two stars when I receive my refund. Such disrespectful treatment for customer concerns...
