We enjoyed a lovely tour at the Palmer-Warner House, given by our very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Andy! As first mentioned in the barn, the house is a work-in-progress with objects being accessioned by museum staff. But that's part of the fun, behind-the-scenes feeling of the house once you walk inside. Lots to see, learn, and comprehend about the lives of the residents who lived there over time. Be sure to make reservations in advance. Look for parking signs just past the house near the barn. Eventually, the barn will be ADA accessible with restrooms, but for now, there are gravel, uneven pavement and stairs to traverse. If you want to meander through the gardens, be sure to bring bug spray and long socks. We finished off our outing with a late lunch and amazing smoothies at Two Wrasslin' Cats just down the road. Looking forward to another tour or event!
