Rob and his team are great instructors. They will make safe gun handling second nature and significancy improve your abilities regardless of level. I've now done three classes with them over the last for or so years. I recommended them to my friends and have gone in groups in the past.

I’m a new-comer to the world of firearms, and upon entering into this hobby / activity it immediately becomes very obvious that there is A LOT of nuanced information that really is critical to know, but can be very hard to figure out for yourself. Because of the safety concerns I had when first starting out, it was critical to me that I found an instructor who gave me the confidence that they knew what they are doing, and that they have the teaching skills to effectively communicate that knowledge to someone else who has very little experience.

I’m happy to report that Rob at Paratus Training checks all those boxes, and even more. When meeting him for the first time, it quickly became apparent that he has a true depth of knowledge regarding all things related to firearms. I think it’s mostly due to the fact that being a firearms instructor is his full time job. Every single day he’s around firearms. Whether it’s pistols, shotguns, or rifles, Rob was able to answer every question I threw his way. I also saw tremendous improvements in my performance by the end of my first lesson while also having A TON of fun! Overall, you can’t wrong by choosing Rob. He’s a really nice guy and a good teacher.

I was attending Paratus firearm courses at this fantastic facility for about a year, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The instructors are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and friendly. They create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and improving your skills. On the top of that they provide tons of knowledge that you simply can't find anywhere else. Forget YouTube or books—this is hands-on learning at its best! From safety protocols to marksmanship techniques, they cover it all.
The courses are not just unique and informative; they're also incredibly fun. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced shooter, you'll enjoy every moment.
The range location itself is gorgeous. Nestled in a picturesque setting, it provides a serene backdrop for your training.
In summary, if you're serious about firearms, this place is a must-visit. You'll leave with newfound skills, great memories, some tan and a smile on your face. 🙂

I took the hand gun training course, and I was able to shoot the target accurately with a Glock 17 for the first time.
