I spent an entire day at the library due to a storm knocking out my power.
There were several spacious private rooms. but all these were filled due to the widespread power outage in the area. I sat in a large conference room with another patron. There were numerous electrical outlets in the room and several USB ports in the middle of the table.
I was able to charge my laptop, 2 cell phones and an air card.
The library workers were helpful and friendly.
This is a great option for people who work from home and want to get out of the house.

I honestly want to gatekeep but the Pell City Library is an unexpected gem considering it’s not part of a bigger library network (like Birmingham library system is) and serves a smallish rural community. I have been so impressed with this library’s catalog and availability. All the staff have been friendly and approachable. I love that they have a puzzle out too!

Great, clean environment! Friendly staff. I have had a problem once with not getting all discs in a season of a show that I borrowed. Also, they don't have a huge selection of authors I prefer. But, they do inter-library exchange where they borrow books from other libraries. So it all works out! Overall, we love the library!

I just moved to the area and was thrilled to see such an impressive library for a small town. Far more than I was expecting. The staff is really helpful and friendly and everything you could ever expect from a library is there.

I have been to a multitude of libraries of the years and the Pell City Library is a fine example. The librarians are very helpful, they purchase popular books when the are published, and the copy machine is easy to use. The reading and research areas are very comfortable and there are always computers available for patrons use. 5 stars!!
