Farren was an essential component to my postpartum healing. I never thought I’d see, never mind need a pelvic floor physical therapist, but I am forever grateful I did. She completely understood and pieced together my symptoms to figure out what the root of the issue was and I feel so much better just after a few sessions. Every pre/postnatal woman should see a PFPT regardless of their issue in my opinion. She is extremely knowledgeable, super easy to talk to, and I immediately felt comfortable with her. 10/10 would recommend!

FINALLY! After 8 years of so many scans, tests, and even unnecessary surgery to address severe and constant pelvic pain, Dr. Balzer's expertise helped me heal. I now know exactly which muscles affect the pain and what needs to happen to return to a pain-free state. Moreover, the way Farren takes the time to empower patients to understand their own anatomy is rare and a lifetime gift in taking control of the health of my own body. Dr. Balzer is both a knowledgeable practitioner and an intuitive, gifted healer.

This review has been a long time coming. I decided to try PFPT a few years after having my second child, but I was worried that I waited too long. My PCP told me that leaking was just a part of motherhood, but I was desperate. Farren was amazing, very kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and put me at ease instantly! During our first appointment, she said that I would be running again without leaks and I didn’t believe her. She has so greatly improved my quality of life! I can keep up with my two energetic boys without having to take bathroom breaks, I no longer am looking for a restroom as soon as we get somewhere, and I can run as far as I want to without an accident. She gives you the tools to maintain and keep making progress even after the visits ends. I am so grateful for her help!!

I saw Farren to help heal my pelvic floor postpartum. I had an excellent experience with her! She was thorough, kind, and really listened to my concerns. She asked for and responded to feedback during all manual therapies and provided me with easy daily exercises to complete. I would 100% recommend her to any peripartum mama - I wish I had seen her before birth as well!

I met with Farren shortly before I began brachytherapy radiation after surgery for endometrial cancer. After the radiation was completed, I began to experience urinary incontinence. I called Farren and she has been so helpful. She explained exactly what was happening to me. We began weekly sessions so that she could work on my pelvic floor. She also taught me how to use a pelvic wand so that I can work on my pelvic floor on a regular basis. The difference has been amazing. I went from needing Depends to not even wearing a pad in about 5 weeks. I HIGHLY recommend Farren Balzer.
