Never allow CPS into your home. If they come with an officer, call you local police or sheriff and ask for a child well being check. Wait till the officer you called arrives then allow that officer and the one CPS brought to enter your home for child's wellness. Never allow CPS into your home. CPS has a time limit to collect evidence against you, do not assist them. Don't speak to them, ask for attorney before you will agree to speak.

Ignored my calls letting them know that my grandchildren were in harms way . They just brushed it off as if I was bothering them . The girl that took my intake call was very rude . I called again giving them further information and I was treated with disrespect. It took all I had to pick up the phone and call them, and I was made to feel bad for it. They made no effort to go to the residence and check out the children and the claim that I had made . Less than a month later my grandchildren were left alone 1and 5 to find help for themselves . Thank goodness the 5 year old was smart enough to go look for help. I could say so much more . Let’s leave it as there are a couple good people that work there however the place is very poorly managed in many ways . Shame on them for not taking every call with respect and fully doing a welfare check .

If your not gonna answer the phone then change your hours. Some of us have jobs we can't play on our phones and have very little time to make these calls

No one likes CPS. Yes there's a pain and it's always challenging but they're really just trying to get us prepared for real life with our kids again. I believe PC CS has the best interest at heart for the kids. I will not say the same for muskingum county.

I had my kods temporarily placed with me. Things were going great .Then yhey came and took them from me cause my son missed like 10 excuswd days of school.. I liked them at furst but in the end itd about the money from the state they get for each child .The kids are only a name on a piece of paper to the higher up staff that make all the decisions. They didn't/don't think how doing the things they do taking the kids from good loving parents and placing them with someone who isn't even family and who hate the kids.... They don't know what problems the child(ren) have loke my son who has ADHD, PTSD, & DMRO (disruptive Mood regulation

Me and my children had to have children services involved in our life. My children are home but my daughter was put through some traumatic situations. Stay away from this place . Keeps your kids safe from the kid snatchers.
