I am a karate teacher of another discipline (Matsubayashi Ryu) and was asked to attend a black belt testing and be part of the judges panel. I was VERY impressed by the general atmosphere of the place. Very welcoming teachers and staff that are very knowledgeable of practical application of techniques. The students are very courteous and respectful and are quite knowledgeable as well. Very very impressed with the school Ms. Devin has built.

We have had an amazing experience at Phoenix Rising! We've been coming for 6 months now and my son (6) has learned so much. He is excited to come every week! Devon is SO good with the kids. I love how the older students work with the younger kids, its beautiful to watch. The dojo is VERY family friendly (especially for homeschoolers- I bring all my kids in and they have a nice area for the little ones to play while big bro is in class). Devon has so much grace for us mamas and is very accommodating in every way. I always feel comfortable in the dojo, everyone is so kind. I recommend this place for anyone with kids/teens who need a productive and fun activity/sport for their children. I see us staying with the Phoenix Rising family for years to come!

I have a shy, & not socially confident kiddo … doing little dragons classes has been a life changer. His growing confidence has been amazing to watch, he’s made so many friends. Even myself, a stay at home mom, have made friends ! The community PRMA provides is absolutely amazing. So thankful to have found this place, and be here for years! Phoenix Rising Martial Arts has been the greatest experience for our family, not only in the dojo but at home. Since we've joined sensei Devon's crew I've noticed a serious change in my childrens behavior they care less and less about screens and Fortnite and are now genuinely dedicated to learning this new skill. My youngest just turned 6 years old and he wakes up bright and early to practice his forms. They're focusing better in school, listen when asked to do something, and have an overall better attitude with everyday things. I'm so impressed with the way things are there, no one is overlooked, everyone is treated with respect and taught respect. The children that help teach the classes are incredible role models and interact so well with the younger kids. It's extremely wholesome to watch. Choosing PRMA has been a life changing decision for us and I couldn't be happier!

I have 3 kids that span the school district in ages and have watched each of them change in different ways. Their self confidence has sky rocketed and they have been able to use that outside of the dojo. Devin is a wonderful teacher who loves to share her passion with others. Her classes are affordable and the 1st week was free! If your little person wants to be a ninja give Phoenix Rising a try!

Devin teaches the kids like they are all her favorite nieces or nephews. She communicates and over communicates to help the students get better.
