Doc is the best instructor! His classes has helped me improve my quality of work when it comes to de-escalation and workplace violence. His training course gives you vast but comprehensive information needed for us to teach our coworkers to be safe in a dangerous work place environment. His class is interesting, entertaining, and educational! I recommend more facilities to use Phoenix. I have used his techniques in dangerous situations and so have many of my coworkers!

Awesome class!!! Doc has extensive knowledge in Crisis and Hostage Negotiations and teaches it in an extremely interesting, informative, fun and entertaining class. The day felt like it flew by! He also held an active shooter drill on a separate day, which really helped the whole hospital learn how to deal with such an event if, God forbid, that happens. So many people stayed after class because it was so interesting and we just wanted more! Doc tended to each and every one of us patiently and with so much knowledge. I highly recommend this to everyone! You will NOT be disappointed!

I had to retake the entire 8 hour class since my certification expired, but after taking the VIP INTERVENTION & RESPONSE class led by Doc Elliot, I’m glad it did. I’d previously taken a different version of this course that was nothing like today’s course. Doc kept the class engaged, which is a way to keep the class awake and the best way to learn if you ask me. I would highly recommend anybody taking the course. Doc is highly qualified, he has an extensive background with stories to share that are actually related to what is being discussed. He goes over the course objectives/goals initially then goes into the PowerPoint. He makes everything relatable to you no matter what your job title is. He frequently asks if you have questions and answers them thoroughly if you do. I truly learned so much that will not only help me in my work place, but also in my personal life. Thanks for sharing the knowledge Doc! Looking forward to taking courses again in the future again!
