My personal experience with Piedmont City Schools is kind of terrible. Although the majority of the teachers are "nice", they don't ever do a good job of teaching. Since Piedmont is computer-based, we do absolutely everything on the computer. Which at first might seem like a good thing, but that for some reason makes teachers believe that students should be able to teach themselves since they have essentially "THE POWER OF THE WORLD IN OUR FINGERTIPS!" And if you ask the teachers for help, they don't help you. They never get involved, and there is definitely not enough teacher-student together time. Although I have somewhat made it through this school so far, I have seen as it slowly drags kids down and no one learns anything unless they teach themselves. Other than that it is an okay school. The school system and fine arts are very well put together. Although, it seems that it is solely built to make athletes feel welcome and anyone else not. SO yeah, It is a great school if your kid is able to work hard and teach themself, and or if they are an athlete
