The campus is landscaped beautifully. However, the staff and a few instructors leave something to be desired. I entered the facility to ask for the Veterans office, and was asked for my ID and given a ticket immediately without having my question addressed first. I waited for a few minutes then asked why I needed a ticket for the office. She then apologized and said she assumed I wanted Veteran benefits. She then proceeded to ask numerous people about the office and directed me to the location. Sadly, it was a small closet room that is unmanned with a few bits of information laid out on the table.

Another reason for giving such a low score is the instructors. I like to meet my instructors so I can introduce myself and assess what they expect from me during the course. Unfortunately, I had one instructor ask me why I wanted to meet her. She simply stated the syllabus should have answered all of my questions and if not, then maybe I should enroll in a different online course. Needless to say, I dropped the class. With that attitude I don't need it. I pay my money for quality instructors with a good attitude. No crappy ones. If only the staff and instructors could match the campus view, then they would be on to something. The library is the only department that kept me from scoring this campus even lower.

Community college is often overlooked by people looking to grow as a professional regardless of age. I can recommend this institution enough especially compared to the University of Arizona.

PCC is one of the best experiences that I have had, and this is coming from someone who graduated cum laude with the University of Arizona class of 2007. In was pleasantly surprised to find life at the Community College to be way more student-focused, relaxed, and self-paced...definitely more humanist in nature than was Uni life. Class sizes are smaller, and it costs less per credit hour. Most Gen-Ed credit meets "AGEC" requirements and as such, can be carried on to the UA (or any other Arizona uni, for that matter)--so you can complete 2 years at PCC, get an Associates, and then 2 years later graduate from the uni with a Bachelor's. Very nice!

I took a photography class back in 2024 and the lady teaching the class was fantastic. I learned so much about developing film and composition. Thank you so much.

The advisor was trash last time I went. Also, how bout enforcing speed limits around the college as these dumb kids speed two and from their grimy hoods.

I basically finished my associate’s but they require much higher math than UArizona does, so I decided to transfer slightly early with 55 credits. I spent 1.5 years on this campus and PimaOnline and majored in Music.

Like everything in life, the experience is what you make it. Get involved and your experience will be better. Get to know your professors, have a good attitude, be open-minded and you’ll have a good experience. I made wonderful connections here and got to do student work in two different departments.

I had very caring professors, even in my online classes, who met with me over Zoom for office hours and provided me with great feedback. The students are very nice too.

I wrote my first script here, I gained my first bits of classical repetoire, I performed with very talented music theatre students, I trained with DMAs who are just as passionate and talented as you would find in most universities, except they had more of a vested interest in us so it was even better.

On Pima’s end, transferring to UArizona was perfect! All my credits transferred. Financial Aid is run better here than universities too. You also get more FWS funds if you’re looking to work.

You can really get impressive work experience on this campus! I’m not sure how it is at other ones, but because of the marketing and graphic design skills I gained, I got another great marketing job very quickly!

Arts degrees are worth it, no matter what negative people say. You may or may not work in the field, but you will gain relevant skills that make you marketable for various disciplines. It all is about what you make of it, but they make it very manageable here!

Attended West Campus for one semester. After. I dropped out we were hit with a pandemic which left me struggling to make payments to my debt. Now 6 years later, finally have a steady income to pay my debt, I can't access my account to start paying off the few hundred I need to take the hold off my transcript and pay offy debt. Have tried reaching out to support which has been sluggish and slow to respond.
