Pittsburgh tutor is amazing in a very safe well lit area. The center is always clean,quiet and well lit. Perfect for 1:1 tutoring. Essie and her staff are amazing which is an understatement!! I was referred to Pittsburgh Tutor by my hair stylist for my daughter who recently was diagnosed with mild intellectual disability from a seizure. We have made some great progress in the year that we’ve been there. I have even received some amazing recommendations for programs for positive socialization for my daughter as well as help with understanding her new IEP goals and how to go about modifying things for it to be more specific to what our goals are. I cannot give Pittsburgh tutor enough praise for filling in the gap alot of parents are struggling with when it comes to education and retention. If you’re thinking about it think no longer. This is a place for everyone!

My daughter works with Leah and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. We have seen amazing progress not only in her grades but also in her confidence. We absolutely LOVE Pittsburgh Tutor. I was nervous about having virtual tutoring for my 6yo son because he can barely sit still in his regular classroom. However, Essie found the perfect tutor for him and he actually really loves learning now. His tutor Kasey, is a teacher, so she's great at working with my son's moods to help him participate and really pay attention. She is always getting him to laugh and makes learning interesting and fun. My son has made incredible improvements in reading, writing and math with Kasey. She also sends us a written report of his strengths and things to work on after every session so we know how he's doing. We have two daughters 4 and 6 (pre school, first grade) who have been going to Pittsburgh Tutor for the past few months. It has been a wonderful experience and I'm very grateful. Essie Blader is incredibly expert, experienced responsive and kind and she made it very easy to get our kids started at the optimal level of learning for them, and made us feel very confident that our kids are getting the exact help they need. Their tutors, Mikayla and Harriet are also excellent. Our daughters have so much fun with them while learning and it's wonderful to see their excitement and engagement in learning. Our kids are both making tremendous progress and I can't recommend Pittsburgh tutor, Essie, Mikayla and Harriet highly enough.

I highly recommend Pittsburgh Tutor. Our tutor, Milana, is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She has been providing my daughter with robust and rigorous instruction for several months and we are seeing a direct correlation & improvement in her Spanish class. Milana utilizes a variety of techniques to teach the required content and make connections to the school curriculum. She is also very kind & welcoming, which helps as well. The organization as a whole is extremely reliable, flexible, and accommodating to students’ needs & schedules. Excellent value for the cost.

We have nothing but positives to say about Pittsburgh Tutor, particularly my son Will’s tutor. We are very thankful for Sophia and the online sessions they have had together twice a week for the past couple years. Will has always loved math, science and geography, but was far less enthusiastic when it came to reading books. Sophia has certainly changed that! He looks forward to their tutoring sessions, and that’s a real testament to Sophia. She is smart, kind, patient and a wonderful communicator. Their sessions are invaluable, plus the follow-up summary emails she sends (detailing each session) are a nice bonus for us parents.
