One of my best friends has lived here for nearly 15 years. I love the mediterranean feel of the place - warm stucco yellow townhouses with warm turquoise roofing and paved walkways. There is a strong sense of community, family, and appreciation for intergenerational living. Located adjacent to the iron horse trail, there are many miles of flat, paved trail on which to walk, bike ride, skateboard, run, and more. Most residents are into gardening, art, and cooking. There is a community house where many fun activities and events take place such as Day of the Dead, Thanksgiving, talent shows, yoga and drumming classes, and more. Especially great for single parents as the kids tend to hang out together as siblings or cousins. The townhouses are light, airy, comfortable, well ventilated, and well designed. It's a safe, sweet, intentional community located in Pleasant Hill.
