Went here with 3 friends for our basic open water dive class. Fantastic staff, class pace, and hands on training. Teaching you what you need to know and how to perform skills. No useless information. Very knowledgeable staff, and instructors. Classes are very easy to manage and all self paced essentially. If you struggle with a skill in the water they’re very calm and help you work through till you are proficient. They truly care about the customer/diver. Customer for life.

I’ve been using Port Diver for maintenance of my gear for the last 10 years or so. They have always done a great job and are honest and up front. Finally replaced my 20 year old bcd and regulators this past month and are absolutely satisfied with their recommendations. My last few dives with the new gear were amazing.

You offer the same date every month like I can reschedule my body according to it. Acting like it's 10 years later, my mother had reached out previously in the past as well. You had told her that I would have to repay for the entire class when all I needed was the last class in open diving. Then when I email your thread back I get no response. Everybody at Port Diver does an amazing job from Joyce to Dennis to Greg The experience in and out of the water is outstanding. I re-qualified with them and both my children qualify with them and the experience was absolutely fantastic. My kids are now competent divers and we have a family activity we can do for the rest of our lives! Thanks Port Diver! Last but not least they have an incredibly well equipped dive shop with the best brands and equipment and most importantly people with the knowledge to get you set up right.

Came there two times, best dive shop in long island area. The owners are very knowledgeable and attentive. Great hospitality. The owner Greg, seems to answer all the questions that i have. And they carry allot of equipment for a small shop. It is like a divers direct store in a small house. Awesome owners, will always rent and buy equipment from them, even if i have to travel far.

Very happy to have found a new scuba shop in the area since LI Scuba closed its doors. Staff is extremely nice. I had 3 tanks VIP'd and one EAN scrubbed and all filled with EAN32. Great fills, both my tanks were completely full even when cold. Definitely would recommend this shop to anyone in the area. Looking forward to ordering some more tanks and gear from them!
