This campus is very well ran .The director of the school is very fair person. As long as you doing what you’re supposed to be doing he will be more lenient with you .I graduated from the electrical program in January. In my opinion the instructor Mr. Strazza, is the best electrician in the state.I was very lucky to have him as my instructor ! I learned a lot. I recommend this school to people that are ready to take on the challenge and not make excuses! As for the other trades the other students seem to enjoy them. I was not paid to write this lol I truly believe in this school and enjoyed my time there !

I attended the HVAC program thru the VA and I have been nothing but disappointed in the institution. Especially with how long the va takes to get you settled and enrolled, I feel like I burned months of my life waiting to get education just for the school to let me down.
My instructor Karl (with a k) was a cool dude but the other aspects of the school were subpar.
Context:
• I was given the wrong time to attend classes (full time residential 4pm instead of 6pm) and wasn’t made aware until my 3rd week. By then I was somewhat behind due to missing labs and lectures.
•1 instructor for 50+ students
• I was put into a classroom of 50+ students whom some of which were already well ahead in the program.
• The materials/tools provided to us were dated and not readily available for the # of students in the class. For a 32-34k tuition that’s not acceptable. Other students stopped showing up because the curriculum overall is a mess.

In the end, I’m more so mad at myself for not doing my due diligence in researching other schools in the area like Entech and even Lincoln Tech. I expressed this all to my va representative and Thank God I don’t have to go thru the whole process again. I would advise the school to improve the overall quality and organization of education.
Was allowed to keep the Chromebook tho so I guess that deserves a star.

Do not enroll. Save your money. The lpn program is extremely difficult and only about 1/3 of the starting classes will finish, getting ahold of administration to express concerns is next to impossible. It's a straight scam. They sell this 15 month dream to victims knowing full well the majority of them will not finish. Goodwin college is 18 months, and has better reviews. in hindsight ALL lpn programs should be 18 months or longer. Don't destroy you're credit at this school. Charging me 800$ for a couple cheap materials, cheap ugly uniforms that rip. You can only miss 42 hours in the 18 months and when I tell you, if you are 1 minute late to class, they will dock you that minute.

Julie the one who is suppose to helpful with everything isn’t helpful at ALL she lies, she’s unprofessional, her daughter works at one of the clinical sites and her daughter is RUDE and gives all the insight of the students who go to her clinical site to her mom. Miss Cane is unprofessional. Everyone acts nice in the beginning but you will find out quick how they really act. Julie even told a class she didn’t expect that many people to make it. Once there’s alot of students they make up a bunch of strict rules to try and kick people out cause. Do not recommend this school alot of drama from teachers and staff and very RUDE completely unprofessional business

Negative school! This school has no support. Stone academy school had closed but the teachers actually cared about you. The admins do not care about students, they want to pressure you, treat everyone like babies instead of grown women. Teachers are cliquey. 0 out of 10 stars. When considering programs please considers somewhere else like a community college.

I had a great experience with the electrical department in Hamden. Awesome teachers and a brand new facility with separate industrial and residential areas that are large and well built. I had all the supplies I needed and always knew I had the support of my teachers who gave me multiple perspectives to learn all the theoretical and practical skills I needed to feel comfortable on a job site

I was the only woman in the class and felt totally comfortable and welcomed.

You're given lots of time to work in the lab and lots of extra time after school as well. We got to learn extra skills like how to operate a scissor lyft and got to work with brand new PLCs too. Its on you to take the initiative but all the support you'd want or need is there if you want to learn. Every campus is different and you'll hear a lot of different P.O.Vs but taking this course totally changed my life and I feel so grateful I got the chance to experience it.

All the office staff are kind and helpful.

From my own personal experience with P&C I'd 100% recommend the electrical department in Hamden

I went to this school. Their rotating enrollment can seem scary at first. After I had the chance to meet new people and learn I was able to achieve full knowledge of basic electrical understanding. If that’s not enough - before I walked across the stage they landed me an interview which I was hired. After a little over a year I was let go. I was devastated, I called my career services worker Tara , however she had switched locations, but Introduced me to her replacement. Ericka. I called Ericka on Friday and had another job willing to hire me that Monday. No it’s not just given I actually earned my reputation, with great attendance and hard work. Mr. Butler was a great instructor as many of their staff are. Trust me learn a trade and stand out from others, this school will definitely make you a success story!

I had two of the best teachers that you can get at the school. They teach me everything that they learned and did it in a fun and entertaining way. I also want to say that I’m very grateful for Tara, She helped me for about two months Trying to find me a medical assistant job and without her help I would not have a position in the clinic that I wanted. I appreciate everything she did for me through the long process and I wouldn’t have gotten this far without her. Thank you To everyone who got me to where I am! I recommend this school.
