My wife and friends all love coming here for the large and unique unfinished stoneware assortment and the huge selection of glazes.
The staff is very knowledgeable about their business and enjoyable to talk and work with.
What a wonderful environment to work in with a group or by yourself.
Very much worth the trip from Sandusky to Fremont. 😃

First off, they do have a great selection of ceramic pieces and their prices are fair. The fired pieces were also packaged well in bubble wrap/packaging when we received them back.
However, our experience was not good at all. When we received our painted and fired pieces back, we noticed that there was a large chip on the top of the fish, and small chips on the bottom of one of the mugs. There are also random pieces and colors of other ceramic on the bottom of the fish.
Also, almost every single piece was not fired correctly. There are large areas that were not fired at all and you can still clearly feel the rough pottery texture. On the fish, the paint on the mouth area did not work/fire correctly as the small blue glass dots were supposed to have burst and become large splashes (they have example squares showing this when you are choosing your paints). A lot of the paints did not appear to blend correctly and looked completely different and way worse when we received the fired pieces. We made sure to put three coats of every paint on.
Last of all, they forgot to put the cork back in the mouth of the puffer fish (it came with the piece) so that is missing which is extremely annoying.
All in all it was a terrible experience and we won’t be coming back. I included pictures below of everything stated above.

This is a venue new to me. It's just the greatest idea! You pick your ceramic piece you want to paint with glaze and they fire it for you. If the piece has extras that go with it it's all included in the price. There are wooden pieces to paint as well!They also have classes for kids from first to second grade to learn how to paint their own pieces. Give them a call for more information because they have so much to offer! I will be going with my aunt to paint my own peace very soon!

Joni and Paul are just the best!! We enjoy traveling from Norwalk to attend different types of events, or just because we're bored. Wonderful for get-togethers such as birthdays. This little girl was painted during their NYE party. Before and after photos to show you to "trust the process."

Fun place to visit! This place has the most attentive staff out of any other pottery place I've been too. Multiple times they check on you, give advice when solicited, and always happy to help! Worth coming to visit for sure!!

Had date night tonight so we went there after we ate. Love the staff, very helpful and informative. Even talked my other half into painting tonight. Will definitely be back and not just to pick up our pottery.

I suppose that if you were into it you'd enjoy it more than me. It's a nice working environment, friendly people and it's just something different. Good background music. Lots of options for your project.

I love it!! Today we had a bridal shower tea party for my soon-to-be niece. Today was actually the 3rd shower we've held here and everything about it is PERFECT!!! Can't thank you all enough!!!
