Overall a great experience. Pricing was about the same as other schools I checked into. Joe was very informative from start to finish. From pre trip to maneuvers to driving he has a very good system for each process for maximum efficiency and very few errors. Extra pre trip study before hand is definitely recommended to make training days easier. Premier runs a couple freightliner trucks with ten speed manuals which drove pretty decent. Because of Joe's training I started the test with confidence and it felt like a breeze. Premier Trucking school has a 95% pass rate so unless you are completely incompetent there is a good chance you will get your CDL first try with training from here. Highly recommend!

An amazing truck instructor and I'm confident to say that I was probably his most stressful case ask about it but all in all if you driving and learn with this man you will most definitely get your CDL on your first attempt.

Joe, the owner/trainer of Premier Trucking, is one of the best trainers, of any discipline, I have come across. If you are at all nervous about any aspect of the cdl process, which is a detailed process, Joe will ensure you get everything lined out that you need.
When it comes to his school/training, it is so extensive and complete, you will get every tool you need to pass. But don’t think this is an easy license to acquire. It takes work, and if you just put in the time and work, it will seem like an easy process.
You get one-on-one training at Premier and the price is competitive, if not cheaper than some of the big, group schools.
The training:
The pre-trip inspection. Joe makes this so easy, just trust the process and listen to him. His training gives you study guides and videos prior to your training, so you can show up day 1 and already know your pre-trip. Just do the training and you won’t spend hours on end trying to learn your pre-trip. After you learn pre-trip from Joe, you’ll go into your test prepared and, to be honest, excited to start with it because you have it so dialed you’ll fly right through it.
Maneuvers and Driving. No matter your skill level, Joe will dedicate as much time as needed on any given skill to make sure you have all of your skill maneuvers and driving to a level that passing your test will be no problem.
I can’t say enough good things about this training. It’s nice to know that your money was well spent and you weren’t just another student in a group.

Joe answered all my questions and was able to sign me up for the hybrid online course. Study materials were easy to navigate and met California requirements. Joe is a great instructor for the driving portion as well. Patient and knowledgeable. I was able to complete all requirements and get my class In about 6 a month. I highly recommend Premier Trucking School.

I had never touched a stick shift a day In my life before starting out. By the time I got my CDL and passed my DMV test I was double clutching gears and upshifting and downshifting exactly as would be required to even be able to walk through the doors of other schools. It's uncommon to find someone who will teach you a manual with no experience and help get you your class A license. Joe did It for me and I am extremely grateful.

You get what you put In. Don't expect to have your hand held on every step but when you put In the effort and keep your ears and eyes open you will succeed. Joe goes In with the Intention of getting you as prepared as you possibly can be for your test. You won't get a better pre-trip than one with Joe. And for the hours of training I had In that cab, I'd say It was well worth my while.

He responded to my texts and phone calls with quick, direct, and straightforward answers. The whole process from walking In and actually signing up all the way to having my class A took me about 2 months. If you've ever wanted to get this done then now Is the time.

I feel a lot more confident behind the wheel of everything I drive now and he helped to break some of my bad habits. Even If you don't use your license right away It's a great experience and he Is a good teacher. Considering the nature of the arrangement, he actually has a lot of patience. But you have to want It as much as he wants you to want It. If you don't go into this with full hearted commitment you won't enjoy yourself and you will waste both parties' time.

I was fully committed and I put In the work, he was there every step of the way and was able to match and at times exceed my desire, will, and enthusiasm. If you're ready to get up bright and early and work sun up to sun down for this then Joe Is your guy. You will succeed here If you want to.

Joe was very accomodating and easy enough to work with. The school has a great price compared to the competition. I have seen some of the competition and I can say with reasonable confidence that you are getting a good deal here. The trucks are In excellent condition and you can see that he goes to the necessary lengths to keep them that way. If you respect Joe and his equipment he will respect you. I thoroughly recommend Premier Trucking School to any local folks willing and ready to get their class A CDL.

Horrible experience. Impatient highly irritable, instructions non existent.call students retartded and throws his hat in frustration. Steals your money without fulfilling his contract.wants you to fale so he can charge more money for the next go around. Absolute disgrace of a teacher.
