Josh Balogh is hands down the best Skate Instructor I have witnessed. He stays engaged with the group or person, keeps them motivated and works on their weaknesses until they become strengths. He instills etiquette, proper form, and safety into every lesson. With that said, skating is not for everyone, but whether you want to learn how to skate, or step your game up for the 2020 Olympics, Josh is your man. He has been working with my son for a year now, and he is getting the most out of skateboarding he can. Pure fun. I am watching him develop style, creativity, and technique under Josh unmatched.

Homeschool 2020 has been a new experience this year and we're so grateful for Josh and Jake for their skate lessons. My daughter worked with Josh this Fall and she had so much fun. Josh is well respected in the local skate scene for his abilities on a board. But what really sets him apart is his ability to explain and demonstrate the fine motor skills necessary to skate with speed and confidence. I have been skating with my son for almost 10 years teaching him myself. Josh has been worked with my son for only 3 sessions so far and my son’s level progression has dramatically increased. Josh knows what my son is capable of even when he questions himself. I highly recommend anyone looking to improve on a board to book a session with Josh. It is money well spent.

My son David has been taking lessons from Hayden for about 2-3 months now. He is a beginner and was not comfortable on the skateboard. After 1-2 lessons I can see his confidence grow each week. Hayden is very patient and works with him at a pace that my son is comfortable with. Josh teaches at a much advanced level, but will come by during lessons to observe and offer tips for students. Josh and team really makes learning skateboarding safe, fun, and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you want to learn skateboarding, these guys are the ones to learn from!

Josh is the best skateboarding coach I have met. I did not have a lot of confidence coming into the sport, but with Josh, I knew that I was safe during all training lessons. Under his coaching, I progressed quickly! He is professional, fun, and motivational. He believes in you before you believe in yourself, and can help you improve your skills drastically with even just a few lessons. I don’t think that there is another coach out there like him in the world of skateboarding yet. How he understands skateboarding is how every coach should understand their own sport. He is great with both kids and adults!
