Office staff were very helpful, especially with being honest to them about my requirements. I had Susan as a teacher. My only gripe about the school is that since it's a fast-paced program, there is very little class engagement or class projects that get the students to brainstorm topics and keep us focused/motivated. If your way of learning is reading from the book, you'll do great. I'm not trying to flex, but I passed with a 91% and never studied for any vocabulary tests, the mid-term or the final. I had an ear pod in 99% of the time listening to music. My knowledge came from having 8 years as a home health aid/ caregiver. Sure, a lot of blame is on me for not taking the class as seriously as I should have. Though I feel as if I didn't learn anything new regarding diseases/conditions that I haven't seen or dealt with during my 8 years as a home health aid/ caregiver.
Also, I would not recommend the weekend class as the church next door is pretty loud and may disrupt your ability to focus.
Overall the office staff 5 stars. I feel as Susan taught the best she could during our short 4-week class, 5 stars. Just wish there was a little more class time to allow for class engagement/motivation, not just read out of the book/PowerPoint lessons.

Susan was the best instructor I have ever had in my life. Overall the school is well run and everyone there is so kind. I would recommend to anyone and everyone that is thinking about going to this school.

I started out at PTI feeling really nervous about being in the Certified Nursing Assistant program, and after meeting the people that work at the school, I felt immediately better about the program. I enjoyed the program and I really appreciated my instructor, Susan, for her patience and her guidance in such a fast course. I greatly appreciate all the help that I received from Beth when initially getting myself into the course, as well as her motivating the students constantly to finish the course strong and pursue great things afterwards. Kay, the director of PTI was an amazing help and motivator to the students, always prepared to answer questions and make things more accessible. My experience at Providence Training Institute was amazing, and I will definitely be suggesting the school to family and friends in the future.

Attended weekends CNA class 11/2023 with Mr.Summer’s it was money well spent as I needed to take it to pursue nursing. Mr.Summer’s was knowledgeable and made the class more upbeat. Passed the class and state boards I was very prepared. It has helped me in my first block of nursing as well since Mr. Summer’s is an RN himself he gave us great insight into the career more than half the class was pursuing. I recommend this place to everyone for CNA especially with Mr.Summers!

I took a weekend CNA class with Mrs. Mel. She is a great instructor that truly cares about you and your success in the healthcare field. Mrs. Mel is a mentor to a lot of us pursuing to further our careers in healthcare. What I enjoyed about the learning experience is that it was met with real life scenarios that helped us prepare for our test and clinicals. We got to meet previous CNA students who gave us tips on how to be successful and shared their healthcare journey. GREAT INSPIRATION♥

The school itself can improve on cleanliness, upgraded equipment, and being stocked in supplies. The skills lab room is extremely hot while the classroom is cool. The setup in the skills lab could improve to make it easily accessible for students to move around in. It can become crowded while getting materials and navigating around the room.

I've had a friendly experience with the school staff. Kay is very nice. Overall I had a great experience we made it work!

I liked our instructor she was very reasonable and understanding and I love that she gave us real life examples to connect the text to. However as great as Mrs. Mel was she alone does not make the school deserve a 5 star rating I gave a 3 due to her alone. The school has many things it needs to improve on for example the equipment is very outdated for the price you are paying I would hope that I could get the best experience and equipment for that price. I also believe the staff needs better communication because when I first applied for this course I was told that there was 2 available spots but a few minutes later was called back and told that only ONE person called back technically still leaving one more available spot for me but I was dropped from the class anyways. I did not want to take no for an answer as I would like to get CNA certified asap. I called back a few days later and sure enough there was still an available spot. Leaving me with just ONE week to prepare and get their requirements done before starting the class. I will say the curriculum is good and easy to follow I just wish that the class was one smaller in quantity of people and or more time is given so that we are not stress trying to get all our skills done in such a short period of time with such a big group of people.

Mrs Mel was so awesome! She gave us real life experience and was so relatable. She was my reason for staying in this program. She dedicated one on one time to us to make sure we’d be successful. My frustration and disappointment came from using outdated and broken equipment. The supplies and facility desperately need an overhaul. The stethoscopes that we received in our kits don’t work at all and wasn’t worth the price we paid for them. I gave four stars strictly because of Mrs Mel and her expertise! She’s contributed so much to my life and my career already! Because of her, I am confident I will reach my goals.

I have enjoyed the CNA class very much, Mel is a great instructor and I really appreciate her teaching style. I think the school could use a new equipment and materials for the skills lab. I would have also appreciated learning how to use a glucose monitor and changing a colostomy bag since that falls under CNA scope of practice. Overall great experience.
