Took my skills test here this past week and read all the reviews prior so I was a tad nervous. My experience was good and I did feel it was well organized. Chanel was very sweet but she is stern with no talking because others are testing and really that’s how it should be. The staff is welcoming and helpful. My school had no dates for testing and I got tired of waiting, so I took a chance here and I’m glad I did. Get there early so you can be one of the first to do your testing, or you could be there a long time as each person gets 30 minutes.

I’ll admit, reading the reviews of this testing facility the night before my skills exam made me nervous. However, as soon as I arrived, it became clear that those reviews weren’t entirely accurate. While the staff overseeing the skills exam can be stern and direct at times, it’s evident that their primary goal is to see candidates succeed. They’re not there to make you fail—they genuinely want you to pass.

Obtaining a CNA license is a significant achievement, and it’s not something that should be handed out lightly. The staff takes this responsibility seriously, ensuring that only competent and prepared individuals earn their certification. During my exam, I made a few mistakes, but I was given the opportunity to correct them and demonstrate that I understood what I was doing. They recognize that nervousness can cause slip-ups, and as long as you avoid critical errors and show that you have the necessary skills, you’ll pass.

The entire process was well-organized. I followed a clear line, and when it was my turn, my partner and I were called up efficiently. The exam itself went smoothly—I even finished with plenty of time to spare. As soon as I completed my exam, I was free to leave.

In the end, my initial doubts about Qual-Ed were unfounded. As the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. Form your own opinion based on your experience, and mine was excellent. The staff was professional, the process was smooth, and I felt supported throughout. If you stay calm, focus, and trust your training, you’ll do great!

Worst place for taking your skills exam. The staff overall were unprofessional, rude, and unorganized to say the least. They weren’t very specific on waiting instructions for testing, they sort of just rushed us pass the exam room where people were taking their written test and had us crowd up in a small waiting area. They didn’t let us know if we were getting called in a particular order and would just aggressively call random people to perform hand washing, without even paying attention if we were completing each step from the state handbook.

As for my experience with the evaluator and the rest of my skills, it was HORRIBLE. She had my partner and I complete unnecessary steps that would throw us off from completing the steps that are on the STATE HANDBOOK. Not only was she doing that, but she would also stop me every time I would complete a step as if I’m doing it incorrectly and demanding me to do it “her” way and not the way it is performed in the state handbook. The evaluator kept stressing that she had so many people to test after us and that we should skip steps in order for her to get through her day, which to me doesn’t seem ethical since this is a state test and we are expected to do all steps on the state handbook.

After I completed my skills with worries that I didn’t pass due to her overall demeanor, I asked the lady in the lobby if I am allowed to sit in there and wait for my ride. She responded yes, but another staff came out and rudely said I am not allowed to sit in the lobby. I kindly told her that the lady allowed me to sit in here and she continued to go back and forth trying to say the lady didn’t know that candidates cannot wait in the lobby is if I was the one who was supposed to know. Every staff I came across had an angry demeanor and were unprofessional physically and emotionally. One staff was wearing open toed sandals with scrubs and was just chewing away on a bag of candy, which seems unprofessional to me due to the particular environment.

Overall, I may be too sensitive for this environment but I definitely would not recommend Qual Ed for any testing.

I went for my skills test and I had a great experience at this test center. The staff and instructor were all very professional, organized, and helpful. They created a supportive environment that made the test experience much easier. I truly appreciated their kindness and attention to detail. Best wishes to them, and I highly recommend this center!

I had an excellent experience with this facility. I did their skills refresher course 3 weeks in advance that prepared me very well for my skills exam. On the skills day, Chanel was very friendly, welcoming, and gave our group a nice pep talk to calm the anxiety and nerves. We had about 10 of us and unfortunately I had to go last. Which was fine because it gave me time to relax and gather my thoughts. I spent hours and hours preparing and practicing for the skills exam and everything went seamless for me.
My skills evaluator, Veronica was great. Shes very supportive and genuinely wants you to succeed and pass. Just follow her instructions, take your time, and prepare well. And you will pass.
I know everyone's experience is different and I can't speak for the bad reviews. My experience was great and if I could do it all over again I would.

With reading the reviews the night before taking my exam I was feeling very nervous about the whole process, but it went way smoother than expected. Got there at 8:35, there was a line and when doors opened at 8:45 they said no bags were allowed as there was limited space, which wasn’t a huge problem for me. Checked our social and ids at the door then went inside to check in. I only had my skills exam to do so I was instructed to the back room where it was a little area filled with chairs in a circle. We were given instructions, to turn off cell phones and keep voices at a minimum. They said talking was aloud but to be cautious of how loud we were talking. People got up in random pairs to start off with handwashing. Then there were 4 clip boards of people that were chosen to take the exam first. Me and my friend were sitting patiently having a conversation and about 10 minutes later the person examining us called us both up randomly. She instructed us to sit back faced to those taking the test but about 5-10 minutes later we started doing some skills. It felt a little different than how I would’ve expected as I know we’re limited to a max of 30 mins and there were spaces between each skills we did. The examiner was very nice and was very helpful and sweet. My friend messed up on one of the skills and let her rethink and do it once more. I could tell they want us students to pass and be successful so I do recommend this place. My friend was finished at 10am and I was finished at 10:30 as I got partnered up to be a patient for another student taking the test. I would say when we left there were still others waiting to be called so I would say we were just lucky to be called in so early, randomly too.

Please only go here for CNA skills and or written testing if you absolutely must!I was reluctant to do my tests here because other people I knew who had done their skills/written test here had nothing good to say about Qual Ed’s proctors, professionalism, and facility. (Refer to other’s reviews, too!) But as you may already know if you’re looking to do your skills/written test, available slots are few and far between.

At any rate, Qual-Ed appears to have ZERO respect for any of the candidate’s time, money, and health. My personal experience is that the original arrival time was pushed several hours to 11a. Inconvenient and mildly unprofessional, but I was warned via phone call in advance and I was still in good spirits. On that day at the given time, everybody was told to approach the back door of the school at the same time, give our paperwork, and sit down to wait until around half past 11. During that time, we were forced to wait *outside* on a sunny, late summer afternoon in the back of a dingy shopping center with a narrow sidewalk, in the middle of nowhere with not even enough foldable chairs for everybody there! Several people were getting quite hot and uncomfortable! Once inside, it was another around 1.45, maybe 2 hours of waiting, completely silent with 6-8 people sitting on tables close together, staring at the wall. We weren’t allowed phones or study material, we were directly across the room in earshot of people actively taking skills tests and a classroom with class in session next door. Many people were walking in and out. The water even went out in the facility during the day, throwing a wrench in the valuable hand washing skill everybody is required to demonstrate! It seemed that the delays had combined many people’s differing test times, causing a backup. Their excuse is that they they tell us to free our entire day on the testing day, but I hope you also agree that such a long, unnecessary wait will not help you be in the correct headspace to perform well on a test!!

Some of this may not be the fault of Qual-Ed and or it’s administrators, I understand things happen and you have to make do with what you have. But what I want Qual -Ed to take out of my review is that many people I spoke to had the same, or even worse experience.. With the poor time management and blatant disregard to people’s comfort and valuable time, (no indoor lobby for the people who drive for hours on the highway to be here?). Not to mention other’s comments about the poor attitude of the proctors.. personally I didn’t have a specific issue with anybody, just felt the aura typical of a slightly judge-mental, overworked and rushed person who can’t care less about you and your success. Which unfortunately is very common.. But this is besides my main point, please refer to others reviews for better insight.

In conclusion.. Qual-Ed is deserving of this and the other poor reviews. I hope they will take their candidate’s insight and begin to do better and learn to accommodate and respect the people who travel from all parts this state to test there, I imagine half, if not most, of their candidates come here from very far away. If you need to choose between going here asap for your testing, and waiting a little longer for a closer and or different location… I’d say the better choice is to be patient. Absolutely horrible experience here. If I could give zero stars then I would do so. Firstly, credentia states that the exam is to start at 8:00 am and the doors hadn’t even opened until 8:45 am. I arrived early to ensure my space and I ended up waiting outside for over an hour, along side everyone else who came to test. Chanel was extremely unprofessional. The older black lady was also unprofessional and EXTREMELY rude! Not an ounce of positivity in that woman. She would get frustrated when anyone would try to use the restroom. I understand she didn’t want a line forming because there was quite a few people needing to use the restroom… however, she didn’t handle that situation well. She embarrassed students in front of the whole group. As I went to perform my skills test I was assigned a very sweet woman, she was walking me through every step (I wish I could remember her name). My partner and I were ready to begin our skills, but unfortunately I was pulled to go over to a different proctor (they did not tell me why). I felt this extremely unorganized and it threw me off my rhythm. The new proctor I was assigned was a Filipino lady, and I wish I could remember her name because this woman needs to be fired. She made me feel stupid, she made me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing, she did not give me clear instruction onto which skills I was to perform, and as I was in the middle of performing she would stop me to tell me everything I was doing wrong which ended up wasting the “30 mins” they’re supposed to give us to complete 5 skills. I put quotes over 30 mins because the proctor lowered my time to 25 mins to start. I could go on and on about this Filipino lady… she was beyond disrespectful. I had to bite my tongue quite a few times. I wouldn’t be surprised if she intentionally failed me. Do not waste your money or your time coming here, they do NOT set you up for success!!!
