I was looking for a place to help me get back up in the skies after a really, really long hiatus. Reached out to QCFS - a fairly new school at KLUK, near me. Josh Hunter - the owner - reached back out to me almost immediately. We met and talked for a couple of hours! Awesome guy, passionate about flying, flight instruction and all things flight. His love for the craft was evident during our conversation, and his mastery of the craft is evident on every flight! I highly recommend Queen City Flying Service, whether you’re looking to pursue a career as a pilot, learn to fly for fun, or to get back into it like me. They are absolute professionals, but it is their love for teaching, coaching, and making you a better pilot that really sets it apart for me!

Thanks to Queen City Flying Service for preparing me with the skills and knowledge to achieve my Private Pilot License. I started flying with them in September 2022, and passed my checkride in February 2023.

I flew with Anthony, Michael, and Josh during my training. They are all incredible CFIs who cared about getting me my PPL just as much as I did. A CFI is available basically 24/7 to fly on your schedule, so you can progress as quickly as you want to.

For example, pulling off my Checkride required Anthony to meet me at Lunken at 4AM and, due to weather, ferry the plane to Warren County Airport while I drive up to complete the oral exam. He happily did all that with no hesitation!

Costs for the rental and instruction are very competitive, and they are very efficient with lessons to ensure they do not charge any unnecessary flight or instruction hours.

Thanks again Queen City Flying Service for helping me achieve my goal!

5 stars for flexibility. Very helpful for me in preparing for the ground portion of my CFII checkride. The instructor allowed me to present my mock lessons through skype to avoid the commute from Dayton to Cincinnati. This school has a lot of promise.
