Update: After i left a review and sent a complaint to organization’s email, their director Trudy emailed me. SHE DID THE EXACT SAME THING AS ANDREA. Asked for my availability (on 6/4), I sent her my availabilities on the same day and now is 6/11 and NO RESPONSE!!! This organization and their staff are unbelievably disrespectful and irresponsible. Stay away from this organization if you are looking for help!!!!

Submitted inquiry twice and Andrea Anderson reached out via email. She asked to send over my availabilities so I did. However, she called and left a voicemail while I was not available. So I called back, left a voicemail and sent her my availability again. She called again while I was not available, even though I sent her my availability twice. So I resubmitted my inquiry in their website, Andrea emailed me again.
I told her that I sent her emails and she never got back to me. No apologies. She asked for my availability today (6/3) between 1pm-3pm. I said yes, I am available. No phone call until 2:45pm so I sent her an email asking if we are still connecting today. It is now 3:14pm, no phone call or email from her. I do not understand why they are broadcasted everywhere. Very disappointing experience (or no experience I should say). They just wasted my time.

I honestly don't know what I would do without Raising Special Kids. When my child was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, navigating the system of DDD, ALTCS, AZEIP, etc. was extremely confusing and overwhelming. Raising Special Kids and Nanette were great at explaining everything and holding my hand through everything. Any time I have a question, they've been happy to assist and I truly don't know what I would have done.

Thank you Nanette and RSK!

The business is a ahcccs subcontractor. The information you receive will NOT be on how to win over the system for your child but how to subject to living under what's offered for your child. That's not great advice. In an IEP meeting, they did not inform you what to do if a school rejects the IEE independent evaluation for your child but just said, " Hey, the school can reject it." Not informing you there are steps to due process if that happens. So it's not just the school saying no, and that's it. That's a lie. A DDD worker also spoke at the meeting stating there is no policy that states DDD is required to attend IEP meetings. Which is A LIE. I even posted the picture of the policy, and Raising Special Kids removed the screenshot three times!! Hiding it from you ALL!! I will attach the proof and the policy so you may see yourself!! This business is paid through the same allocated monies that come from Ahcccs. Though it's explained as a "different pool." Title services are in the school system because they are labeled MEDICALLY NECESSARY services at school. Stop letting these people lie to you and corrupt our system. Report fraud on this business. They are not a part of the state, so you can report to the attorney geenrals office. The BBB. CMS. FBI. Everywhere you can report fraud on a business, do it. This business is being funded for a reason and is the STATES (through Federal Govt) Advocacy system as a part of IDEA. So please report this business actions.

As you see below my picture was deleted because they are not informing you the Truth

Everytime the same woman calls me from this organization, she refuses to make an appointment and also she’s insanely rude. Avoid it all cost there’s other advocates out there that will help you.

This organization was integral in getting the correct and mandated help for my neurodivergent child. We were having issues at the current enrolled school and RSK’s advisor was extremely helpful and informative as to the steps we could take.

This is what every parent needs when your struggling with IEP's, 504's and special education or just children with disabilities. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They actually respond within a timely manner and never ask for anything in return. Knowledge is power when you don't have a clue what your doing as a parent, and this agency is full of knowledge. I'm thankful for places like this and people like Vicky because my children's education and well being are so important to me regardless of their disabilities!!! So, hands down 5 stars to this wonderful agency that Cares 1000 percent for families!!

A person referred me to this org. because I just didn't know what to do or where to go with my child and their needs. With AzEIP coming into the home, horse therapy, music therapy, etc... They called once I missed it due to taking care of said child. Regardless of waiting now almost 2 and a half months and leaving 2 messages, no one has ever called back. This is supposed to be a group for information and support. Or so I was told. I, of course, haven't gotten any further than the secretary. One star is pushing it.
