I had an amazing experience training at Ralph Gracie Bend. A friend recommended I check it out, and I can’t say enough good things.

Patrick taught a fantastic class on passing — it was technical and really leveled up my game. Paul, the owner, and the other members were extremely welcoming, and the rolls were tough, just the way they should be.

And of course, I forgot my belt… so I got “promoted” to pink for the night, which made for a good laugh!

Grateful for the opportunity to train with such a solid crew. Highly recommend Ralph Gracie Bend to anyone looking for great instruction and a welcoming environment.

I have really enjoyed watching my son in the classes. He's been doing it for about 6 months now and I see that he really respects the instructors and looks up to them, and he's a good judge of character I think.  I've also seen a lot of the skills that are taught at class spill over to the home, like showing eye contact when talking to comeone, respecting others and being helpful, so thank you! Not to mention the confidence that he's gaining from the skill of knowing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The instructors here are great! They teach a move and stick to it for a week or more, showing all sorts of variations, and allowing us to get lots of drilling in.

Really appreciate the upper belts being so willing to help when I inevitably look lost in a move 🤣 This gym has helped me feel comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone.

Paul offers a self-defense class quarterly, I attended one a few weeks ago and loved it! I went with my sister and we had a blast, while learning some crucial tools and basics that simulate real life situations. Paul is a great teacher and I love that he gives back to the community with the self defense classes, as they are free. Gym is also incredibly clean, and organized and everyone there is so kind and welcoming! Cannot say enough good things, will be attending future self-defense classes for sure!

I was traveling through Bend and dropped in for a class at Ralph Gracie BJJ. The crew there were so welcoming and knowledgeable. I wish I could train with them on a regular basis. I will definitely be visiting their studio again when I am in the area. Thank you, Paul, for welcoming me and reminding me that I have a passion for this martial art and want to continue my training.

The culture that Paul has built around this gym speaks for itself once you walk in the door, and the breadth of knowledge of Paul and the instructors becomes evident extremely quickly. Everyone that trains here has an amazing attitude, are very friendly, and checks ego at the door. It's a special thing when you feel an entire gym elevating each other. I haven't been to all of the classes, but I can personally say that Paul, Matteo, and Andrew are great coaches, and have created something very special with this community. I can't recommend this gym enough.

I was previously a student at this academy and I only left because of work pulling me from Bend. Having taken Paul’s classes I feel that I have gained a lot of new found confidence in myself as well as improved discipline and proprioception. Kris, Patrick, and all the coaches at this academy are some of the best, most passionate coaches I've had throughout my entire athletic career. The environment is incredibly welcoming and full of camaraderie. When I first moved to Bend I didn't really have a social network, so being able to go and roll or take classes really pulled me out of my shell and gave me a great community to be a part of.
