I’ve lived in the HOA for ten years now. They are well run and do an excellent job helping the residents. The management takes excellent care of the facilities. Everything is clean and in working order. While the common areas are getting old you can only tell by the style. You couldn’t tell it’s old any other way.

The HOA maintained areas are well taken care of. The roads are in good condition. The landscape is Xeriscape and very attractive. The area is kept such that housing values are maintained. We have a responsive board. It is not one we want you to change much. The folks hire experts such that it isn’t a personalized ego versus ego in some HOA. If there is a charge item that requires a subsidy it is well communicated with itemized cost and benefits.

The cost is extremely low. Especially low considering there’s two pools, two rental facilities, two basket ball court areas, two grass parks with all the fixings, a tennis court, and maintained areas. On the rare occasion that we need an extra it is justified and openly discussed.

There’s plenty to do such as basket ball and tennis. These again are maintained such that you can expect the area to be functional and clean. They are in a park area so that if you have a family party in the park the kids could bring a ball or tennis racket and have at it while the family does their thing.

The pools are excellent condition. They have been relined and a kiddy/wading pool put it to better serve the residents. The place is bustling with a courteous but firm control over participants. They put out picnic tables with umbrellas so that a family could make use of the pool under most conditions. There’s shady area and sunny areas for those who want to tan etc. There are reclining chairs if you desire. Clean functional toilets at both pools.

Needless to say I believe this HOA is what HOAs should be.

This is a very nice cluster of homes on both the North side and South side of Austin. They were built in the seventies and various floor plans are available. The association has been around and solvent for over 40 years now. For people who do not like homeowners associations you might want to take a second look at this one as it's still under $200 a month and includes 2 clubhouses, 2 pools 2 parks and a lot more that makes living there really nice

I love this area. The parks and club houses are centrally located for parties. 20 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from RSD shopping center. The nature hiking trails are fun to explore a must!

The other residents/people at the private park stare like your going to steal something. I'm not! I'm just playing Pokemon GO and I can be here...smh.
