I can’t give these guys enough stars for what they do with the Baby Ballers (4-6 yo) group. After my 4 year olds first session he couldn’t wait to go back & now we’re on month 2! In just 1 month we noticed our son slow down & focus on his goals, his ball handling rapidly progressed for his age & his knowledge of technique & the game itself is growing!
The coaches have so much patience for these wild ones but don’t take it easy on them by any means. Teaching them the game while teaching them to have respect. We love RCE!

We had a great experience with the Academy! Their price point is very affordable, and when we signed up, they asked what specific goals we wanted to achieve during the camp. I’m happy to say all those goals were met. Coach B was incredibly professional—she’s a real coach who holds her students accountable. My son, who’s a beginner basketball player, loved it so much he asked if we could go back every day. He learned a lot, and I highly recommend this program. We’ll definitely be returning for future events and camps. Thank you!

We received great coaching and skills training here. I will say I did see improvement in my basketball player. However, it is so incredibly unorganized. They really never know what's going on and always blame a parent or player. I never once saw anyone take accountability for all of the errors that happened.
I ordered team merchandise and paid for it, and never received the items. I've sent letters requesting a refund and spoke with administration. They keep telling me they will get back to me but never do (typical RCE customer service). The owner states he does not/will not communicate with parents or players. (to good for that I suppose) So there is no way to talk to the owner and let him know how unorganized the business is. He doesn't care one bit about player/parent satisfaction. The coaching staff can be very demanding, rude and they want parents to do 50% of the work as "Team Mom".. overall very disappointed with this organization.
I will update this review if I ever receive my refund.

First I want to say that their skills training is great and the coaches that we dealt with were great. This is the only thing that we can say that was good about RCE.

However, their spring league was a complete disastrous experience for us. Paid when we were supposed to. Waited three weeks into the season for them to finally place our kid and multiple other older kids on a team. Split those teams up multiple times throughout the season. You might as well have called this team the misfit orphans instead of RCE-Select. Did not get our kids uniform until the first weekend in May. He wore it to two tournaments before the season was a wrap. Other kids on these same teams never received their uniforms. Communication was terrible and emails, chat apps, and texts would go days without responses or not get responded to at all. These boys were supposed to get 12 spring league games and those never happened. They were to play in 7 tournaments and that barely happened. The two day a week practice turned into last minute cancellations after rearranging our schedule for said practices. The owner of this organization is only about the cash flowing in and is no longer about the kids and only showcases those teams that are going to make him look like a million bucks. There are plenty of other leagues in the HSV area that you can join that will be way better organized than RCE. Growing pains are one thing but blatant disrespect of kids and parents who have rearranged their schedules and paid money for this is two totally different things. We all paid the same amount, but it was clear after our kids finally won a tournament and he purposely did not give them any acknowledgment like he did every other team that won, that he did not want our boys to be there. More than likely because we didn’t buy into his excuses like others did and tried to hold him accountable.

More than likely this review will get deleted since that’s what they do with negative comments or feedback on their social media apps. The owner shuts down when receiving any criticism instead of taking that and trying to do better!

I Absolutely love RCE Academy. Within 1 week of training my children girl (10) boy (12) skills have enhanced! They get a great workout in everyday. Along with being taught great leadership skills. My babies love Coach Ronnie and his staff. Thanks for building them mentally and physically!! I am thankful for Coach Ronnie and his assistant for working with me for a very professional and smooth transition for getting them enrolled!!

They need to invest in an air conditioning unit most definitely! It actually feels better outside than inside the building and that speaks volumes!
