This company is the worst. They charged my credit card the same amount on the same day 5x put my credit card in thw negative and refused to refund. My bank had to file a claim if fraud. They owed us points for a free night we never received. 30 days we stayed in this raggedy place. Other guest smoke pot the hallways smells of Weed alcohol. Front desk lady Regina is rude and think she owns the property and even threatened to put us out or call the cops if we didn't pay by 1130. Horrible company don't book use cash and lock your doors. Sketchy looking guest and homeless folks. The area is cool with restaurants shopping lot of traffic very congested at various times. Knoxville marketplace

Traveling from Florida to Pennsylvania and unfortunately, had no choice but to stay at the Red Roof Inn in Florence, S.C for 1 night! Filthy, stained linen, bugs and smoke filled room. Wound up ill from smoke because of allergies ( affected my eyes and eyesight as well as breathing) checked in late and left by 9 without sleeping at all due to noise, smoke and filthy, stained linen! Would never recommend! Rating ZERO!

This company needs too be condemned... Hundreds of locations below "company standards".
The average Red Roof Inns executive compensation is $234,365 a year. The median estimated compensation for executives at Red Roof Inns including base salary and bonus is $241,716, or $116 per hour.
This company and their executives should be ashamed of themselves.
Zack Gharib you are scum. Genuine relationship, real results what a scam business motto, I have contacted hotel directly, no results, I have contacted new Albany office, no results... You guys failed too meet mine and many others hospitality experience.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was traveling to NJ from Ohio to visit family. I remember years ago, I stayed at this very same hotel (under different management), and it was quite pleasurable. Convenient to all of the stores and restaurants, and only 15 minutes from family. However, I went to NJ in May of 2022 for a Christening for my grandbaby. I booked the hotel and asked for a deluxe room, and paid in advance. When I arrived, I had no deluxe room. To make this short, I was changed rooms 5 times. I'm dead beat tired from driving 7 hours and just wanted to rest. I reached the hotel at 6:00 PM and I was not able to find a fit room until 12:00AM. The room was not a deluxe room and they refused to refund me my money. The pictures below are the pictures of the second room they put me in, and then the next room. Each got worse and worse. Being that it was so late and I was tired, I just slept on top of the covers until morning and checked into another hotel. Please stay away from this place located in Parsippany, NJ on Route 80.

Wytheville, Va. I prepaid for a night at $75.95. Called before we got there to reserve a first floor room and said OK. Got there a few hours later and no first floor rooms. Refugees for Hurricane Hellene were filling up rooms and were charging $125. Drug our stuff up to the second floor then got a knock at the door about they needed a credit card. Walk down to the front desk and they are now selling rooms for $145. The room was filthy, lights didn’t work, mirrors were smeared. Illegal immigrants were living in the rooms, lawn chairs and grills in the walkways. They wound up charging my credit card $91.97 and said they would credit it but never did. I used to stay at Red Roofs for business in the 80s - early 2000s. Rooms were clean and economical. This chain has really gone downhill from what have seen and other reviews. Indian ownership has run this brand into the ground. Like many others I will never stay at a Red Roof again.

Horrible!! Dillon, SC...after a long day of traveling, I stopped here for the night. Upon check in, Michelle (very rude, disrespectful attitude) asked me if I preferred smoking or non-smoking. I am not a smoker and was traveling with my asthmatic mother so of course I requested non-smoking. She waited until after I paid for the room to tell me that the lock was inoperable and there were no keys, that she would have to let me in and out of the room. I asked for a better explanation and how that was going to work, and she just offered her phone number to call each time I needed to get into the room if I left. I was too tired to argue, so I proceeded to "meet" her at the room. Upon entry, the lights didnt work-as I made my way over to the one lamp that did, I could smell the odor of old cigarette smoke and saw the ashtry on the table. Michelle disappeared quite quickly to go get maintenance in order to fix the lights. When she returned, I told her the room was unacceptable, that I specifically asked for a non-smoking room and I nor my mother could stay in there. I also began to point out the dead bugs and filth that also came along with the cigarette smoke. She immediately retreated back to the office, I assumed it was to get me another room, but was sadly mistaken. After a few minutes of waiting, I went back to the front desk to inquire as to whether or not she was getting me a new room. Her response was "thats all I have". I said "but thats not what you asked me, you specifically asked me if I wanted smoking or non and I clearly said non and you gave me a smoking room anyway!" Her response was "well I can't give you your money back, you have to wait until the owner comes in tomorrow." I said "i'm not staying here I need my money back TONIGHT!" As wer were speaking one of her friendly roaches was crawling down the wall!!! I immediately pointed it out to her and said "THIS IS WHY!!" After her refusal to refund my money, I left; contacted corporate and they did NOTHING! I'm sure they would never have let their family stay in such conditions, but to hell with the consumer! This chain is sad and I will NEVER stay at another one!!

Selected Red roof because of their Business model of having clean, safe and sanitary rooms. This was for a homeless friend with 3 children, this Red roof is infested with roaches, the hotel mgr was caring, and gracious enough to move the family to another room, that room had roaches also. The mother is a hard working, loving woman, who works door dash and Uber eats all day long, and when she is off, she home schools her children. She was living in her car, she was in an severe abusive relationship which she and her children had to pick up and run from the abuser. It is an ultimate shame that I have paid hundreds of dollars, to give her and the kids some days of normalcy only to have them subjected to a rented room with a roach infestation. Paying $75 dollars a nights. Red Roof Inn should be ashamed of themselves, preying on people who have limited resources, so RRI assumes that they can ignore, not care about the buildings, and their upkeep and sanitation, of their rooms, customers shouldn't have to take Red Roof Inns roaches to their homes. Google a roaches reproductive system, they breed by the thousands. Your company should do a better job in putting the customers first, since they are the reason you're still in business. The owner, and the Board of Directors don't take heed to these pitiful reviews, after I seen them I'm going to make it my goal to contact the Atty General, FCC and any other indienty for Businesses that are operating, with malice, greed, and fraudulence, and no concern for their customers.
