I have an upcoming trip to Colorado and needed to buy some new snow pants and immediately after walking in I was greeted by Janet, who was so incredibly nice and helpful my entire time in the store. She was very knowledgeable about all the products and without her i would have been aimlessly walking around the store trying to
find what i was looking for. Great customer service and a very wholesome interaction.

Love this REI!! Quaint and friendly …. Gorgeous sun rays at all different times of the day streaming through the windows! We absolutely love walking around and peeking at all the beautiful clothes and outdoor gear. Great sales today! All the employees were so helpful and kind. I use a mobility device and had no issues. Thumbs up REI!

This has nothing to do with the brands that REI carries, as I they have a ton of awesome outdoors gear for all types of activities.

That said, their customer service and return policy are abysmal. I purchased a snap up sweater, and within a month one of the buttons fell off. When I brought it back for an exchange, they told me there was absolutely nothing they could do about it. All this despite having a 90 day return policy on their site. After refusing to help me, I went to online customer service, and was told that if the store didn't help me, the operators online wouldn't either.

Avoid buying from this company at all costs, they do not care about their customers at all.

I can only speak to sales in shoe department. First off, nobody was around to assist, until the elderly saleswoman came by only to assume the model shoe I was trying on was too small for me. She proceeded to get me an assumed size after I requested my size, and did not clearly state that the size I requested was not available until asked. She did not offer to look for my size in the other colors or show any customer service skills. The experience was sadly unpleasant, unhelpful and discouraging.

Well I will say my experience was not perfect as an item was not found in store but upon ordering o like to be delivered to store I got email saying it was ready for pick up 30 min later. I went to store to see if was there and it was. I spoke with the manager Page who was sympathetic and listened to my concerns. She immediately investigated the issue and found the problem .She was adamant to make things right. She re-did the purchase I did on line and as able to help me with a bonus card I had. Which her help I was pleasantly happy when finished. Everyone I came across was very nice and helpful. I do understand mistakes happen and that ok. Will definitely continue to stop at this location. So thanks to Page !

My wife & I had a very frustrating experience at this store. We cane to the store to purchase 4 hybrid e-bikes & a bike trailer. After talking to a sales rep for about 35 min. We finally chose 4 bikes that we wanted the store to order for us because they did not have 4 of them in the store. We were convinced to join REI to get some sort of savings. When we went to the register to pay & place the order, they first charged the $30 membership & then the cashier proceeded to place the almost $6,000 order. It is at this time that we were informed for the first time that they could not place the order for us because store policy does not allow to place a special order. We were given two options. One, was we can travel to 4 different REI stores were they had one of each & purchase them individually or two, they can order & have the big boxes delivered to my home & then I would have to bring them to the store for assembly. Long story short, we walked out of the store frustrated & went to the local bike store where we tested different bikes and we ended purchasing 6 e-bikes not 4 for $7,000. If you want a new bike, don't waste your time with the big stores. They have too many rules that make no sense & the staff is not well informed. Support your local businesses & enjoy a better experience.l & a big savings by cutting the middle men.

Shopped cross country skis and boots here. Janet was super helpful (thanks Janet!). The line to check out was really long, but hopefully that was just due to the time of year.
